Pantry or open floor plan? Which would you choose?
Comments (4)Please post more pictures. Don't worry about the mess. The more pictures the better. Please draw out the basic floor plan, as is, on graph paper if you can. A rough sketch is even okay. And YES... I'm talking the whole entire first floor around the kitchen showing as much as possible. :-) Label the sizes in feet and inches of all the walls, that staircase, and any window or doors. If you do that, let me tell ya from experience, you will get the most amazing help! The thread you want to read is this... Read this!...See MoreOpen floor plan paint help needed
Comments (4)Dining area: Paint the wall with the arch the same white as the trim and wainscoting. This way you can paint the walls above the wainscoting any color you want. I wouldn't paint the wall behind the kitchen, as it nicely 'grounds' your kitchen in there. But you could add some color by painting the window wall behind breakfast area (and maybe the large lounge). Preferably add color with fabric and decoration. I think the current colors are kinda bland, but well chosen. (And two islands? Really?)...See MoreNeed help coordinating open floor plan lighting!

Comments (1)First step change all the lighting to LEDs 4000K (daylight) that will help when choosing colors to keep them true.Right now I see a lot of yellow hued lighting As for the kitchen what do you mean by too warm IMO cream is a warm color so a bit confused. If you are going to do anything in the kitchen I would remove the cabinets above and for sure around the cooktop and replace that with a nice stainless hood the rest of it seems quite nice....See MoreAlexey Socha
