Hi everyone! We are installing white cloe tile in our kitchen but don’t want the kitchen to feel too “sterile”. I’ve been reading through the comments on many cloe posts and am leaning towards laticrete bright white grout. Despite the name, it seems like a warmer white? Anyone who has used this color grout, do you agree? Would this be a good option for us? If anyone has an other recommendations, I’m open to hearing them. That looks beautiful! So we’re unfortunately switching to a Cloe look alike. I had Cloe ordered through Lowe’s it was supposed to be arriving 3/28. It was then switched to back order and Bedrosians ended up canceling my order with no estimated time to come in. I was so disappointed. We switched to an almost identical tile, although more expensive, from Floor and decor. Waiting on my tile guy to start next week!

Jolene. Tilebar has the Portmore, which is very similiar. (HomeDepot and Wayfair carry it under their IvyHill line) So you're building a new home and paying people to do the home like you want, and you aren't allowed to use certain tile? her tile guy will "only do certain tile" ?? sounds like her tile guy (and her) get a monetary incentive to use a certain company. If you purchase the tile yourself, w/your money on your dime, and have it at the new build, will they install it? How about you just don't do a backsplash, move in, and hire a tile person to install the tile you want? For your bathroom shower, I guess you'll have to pick something else. Or, advise your builder you want a diff tile contractor. This is so ridiculous. If I'm paying people to build my home, they better use the materials I want. (unless this is a tract home?? ) BTW, any further questions, please start your own post.

You need a whole lot larger grout lines for a start. You also need to order much more than 10% extra and cull out the really wonky ones. More like 30% more. And you need the layout gridded out instead of using spacers. Spacers don’t work with varying width irregular tiles. Wedges do. If the person using them knows a thing or two. They won’t be the $500 crackhead. They will be the 2K minimum actual professional who has a 6 month wait list. Your project just turned into the 5K backsplash.
