Paint color for fireplace with three room footprint

Hello. We just bought a 1954 home with a nine foot long fireplace in the middle of the majority of the living space. It has a footprint in the dining room, office, and living room. The stone was already painted, and it is not worth the effort to me to attempt to remove it, and I am not interested in covering it with tile or drywall.

My initial thought was to paint it a mid to dark teal, but I’m not sure if that lends itself to the decor options in each room. The only colors I have completely ruled out are black or any shade of white. I love bold colors and am not a fan of neutrals. The current creamy wall and fireplace color are about to break me. 😩

Any recommendations on a bold color that would offer variety for design in each space and would also compliment my floors? I won’t choose a wall color until this is decided.

I’ve posted a listing photo of the general space and an art piece that will be the inspiration for the color scheme in all areas.
