Bedrosians Cloe tile spacing/grout
Comments (90)Hi everyone! We are installing white cloe tile in our kitchen but don’t want the kitchen to feel too “sterile”. I’ve been reading through the comments on many cloe posts and am leaning towards laticrete bright white grout. Despite the name, it seems like a warmer white? Anyone who has used this color grout, do you agree? Would this be a good option for us? If anyone has an other recommendations, I’m open to hearing them. Here is one side of the kitchen (we will be replacing the microwave and cabinet above stove with hood and backsplash to the top) Counters: viatera Calacatta sol Cabinets: SW pure white Floors: global gem heartland Champaign...See MoreReal color of Bedrosian’s Cloe Tile White
Comments (2)While we for those whonhave it, I can say that these tiles have been talked about for quite a few years. The beauty of this tile IS the color variation. Some people buy extra boxes though to pick through to get the color variation they want. Maybe this tile isn’t for you? You have to figure out exactly where each color is placed so that it looks random. If you go this tile, research how people Installed them....See Moreneed help with grout color on cloe cream tile
Comments (1)Hi. Its a bit difficult to visualize. I think the lighting isn’t coming through in the photo… the hex tile looks grey. I think a lot of people use a colored grout on hex tiles to emphasize the fun shape. I wonder if almond grout will look it’s best next to a white slab bench? How do you feel about a bit darker grout for the shower walls?...See MoreWhite Cloe tile with bright white cabinets & white quartz counters?
Comments (11)As others suggested, waiting until the other components are in place is very smart. Cloe is generally available, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it being unavailable and causing a delay. The variation of Cloe is what makes it so friendly in terms of balancing cool and warm. I’ve seen it look beautiful in warmer kitchens as well as cooler ones. We used the 5” square Cloe tiles set in a staggered pattern for our backsplash. Our cabinets are SW Extra White and the countertops are MSI Blanca Statuarietto, which has pale gray and pale tan subtle veining. The wall color is Snowbound. Despite being pretty much white on white on white on white, I feel it’s not sterile at all. In adding warm wood accessories and some pottery, towels, plants, etc it has enough “life” for me without being too cluttered. Pics are below so you can see how it plays in our space. Last shot is a close up of the counters. We plan to increase the brightness of our lighting. Best of luck with your new kitchen!...See MoreHU-187528210
