Trunk soft on Adenium Arabicum
Comments (43)Actually, I'm starting to think it's a problem of being underwatered... late last summer when I had the same problem, I greatly reduced watering, and nothing changed. I checked the soil (gritty mix) again and it's totally bone dry. I had been watering pretty frequently, but very little each time - maybe only 20-30ml each time. The trunk only started to become a lot more solid when I began watering about a month ago, so maybe I just need to water a bit more each time I water. There are lots of new, white roots growing and no new signs of rot... it had been unusually sunny for about 2 weeks so perhaps the plant needed a bit more water during this period? I'll try watering a bit more each time I water, and maybe reduce the frequency a bit. Will keep you posted on how this goes... Thanks again for the suggestions!...See MoreUPDATE: Garden Circle Exchange Ring November
Comments (86)hmmm, some confusion to say the least. #1 confusion - who my pal was. boy was i off. and i have to admit you did the greatest job of keeping me off track. i have to thank you ever so much for all you have shared with me throughout the year. my gardens will forever remain gorgeous because of you and my heart will forever be filled with smiles at your kindness and geneorsity. #2 confusion - ruth/lil -- i didn't send that. i had ordered something for you back when it was your birthday that never was shipped but it wasn't from maine. i mailed your package out yesterday. i can't be that out of it that i don't remember ordering you a wreath LOL but then again! someone else deserves that credit and it sounds like a great gift. sure hope you enjoy the one i really sent! yaya, you will be missed. you really ran a tight ship and i so appreciated being a part of this group. i must admit, for a while there, i thought you were my pal. now i see how wrong i was. go figure. since i have been full of doom and gloom this year, a year i can't wait to end, i have some happy news. we got a new pup. he's a total freak, into everything, so mischeieveous, a pain in the butt, but so playful and sweet. i do think he's missing something upstairs, unless i just don't remember "puppy". already he's so spoiled. but it's just wonderful to have an animal in the house again. it was only a short period of time, but i certain missed having that special something! now the better news -- even though i am a youngster myself (LOL), i'm going to be a granny! i can't wait. things weren't done the "conventional" way, but what the heck...it's going to happen anyway! it was truly a good thanksgiving! it's been my pleasure belonging to this group. i'd love to stay in, but with the way things have been, i feel it would be unfair of me to commit for another full year. rose - i wish you as much success in running the group as yaya had. i'll even come around and sneak a peek and chat a bit. be well all, talk to you soon :) happy holidays earthly...See MoreSecond Trunk Club
Comments (29)Eld. no extra discounts from Nordstrom-- but I did get an item at a reduced cost because it had gone on sale before it arrived. Also, I do get my fee back if I purchase something. I went with Trunk Club because I buy quite a bit from Nordstrom already-- and based on what I saw from others, Stitch Fix didn't seem to be my style. Thanks again for your sweet wishes, Tartan! <3 I am to the point that I am not all that scared-- I mean, I have been living with this for a few years. It's frustrating but I know I can survive and manage ok even if it isn't fixed. That said, it IS limiting-- and expensive between ubers and deliveries and surgeries and glasses-- so I hope it IS the fix....See MoreMy Trunk Club Experience (for RNmom)
Comments (33)Thanks, RNmom.. i liked seeing some of the other colors! I don't wear the intense moonlight all over my eye-- just as an ever so slight eyeliner. I tend to wear a pinky brown eyeshadow close to my skin tone as my every day look and then add a shimmery eyeliner for evening or summer fun. I don't go crazy on my eyes because they are small.. and smoky eyes or anything similar tend to make me look sick, tired or sick and tired lol. Mtn, the influencer i was referencing isMsGoldyGirl -- she doesn't provide instruction as i remember but she is a general lifestyle blogger. I don't care for her fashion or cooking styles.. but I have picked up some great cosmetic recommendations. I am much darker than she is-- but we have similar tones and makeup styles. I think you'd enjoy both her hair and makeup recommendations. She is both a walmart rep and a Nordstrom rep... so she definitely goes high and low! I don't follow many influencers-- not even the wildly popular ones-- but i enjoy Marnie!)...See MoreFunkyart
