So even ghosts don't like barking dogs?

Just in time for Halloween. ☺ I "hope" it was fishline. I don't think the collar was latched correctly to begin with so the visual would work. The collar was pulled by the end, the loop, then released.

I feel sorry for those dogs. :(

Unless the recording was edited it is odd how the 2 dogs just suddenly froze in their tracks before the collar came loose and spooked the dog. A candidate for the TV show "Paranormal Caught on Camera"? Oct is always a fun month.

The ghost was having a hard time dying with that barking. If that's an apartment then the ghost may have been haunting the guy next door and just got tired of all the noise coming through the wall ;-)

Cages are no way to treat a pet unless it's a hamster....do hamsters even exist in the wild?

From my experience, "ghosts" do not have the dexterity to unbuckle a dog collar. They can move small objects, but not manipulate them in a complex manner.

First question: Why was anyone taking this video?

I think that this was staged and that the dog collar was possibly held on with tape, or something that would possibly fall off on its own. The collar falls off when the dog is turning its head, and I think that this turning is what makes the collar eventually fall off. This could be enough to startle the dog.

Generally, I have also found that the "ghosts" themselves do show up in some form on camera, and I do not see this here. If there is a ghost in the cage, then it should show up as a white orb, streak, or some sort of distortion. I've taken a lot of photos in which mysterious streaks show up, and I interpret those as some sort of otherwise invisible energy. I do not see that here.

My brother's cats liked going into cages and enjoyed road trips. The cats voluntarily went into their cages when they sensed that they were about to go on a trip. Dogs might not like this, however.

Crates aren't a form of punishment to a dog......at least they shouldn't be. Given blankets to lay on and treats, and toys, it can be there happy and safe place.

Bud my cat loves his carrier. He sleeps in it all the time. Actually both cats loved it. When one had to go to the vet, I'd take it out from the corner beside the couch and bring it to the kitchen so I could put the cat going, in it. When I picked the cat up and turned around, there was often the other cat in it. So I had to take him/her out first. :-)

Well, I must be seeing a different video because I saw no collars coming off or even being off. Very disjointed and neither dog seemed at all distressed. Yes, the barking was loud but they weren't really moving. Weird.

Murraysmom watch it again. I just watched it. At the tail end the dog was spooked and his collar came off. I didn't watch it with audio, I didn't realize they were barking.

The owner says that the dogs are only created up to 2 hours a day. I can't explain the way the dog looks physically as a collar comes off. How does fishing line do that?

My daughter has a camera on her dogs while she is at work. It also can throw treats to the dogs and she can talk to them. I forget what it's called.
