I had to go to the zoo to find a picture of a flock. I haven't taken a picture of all the pigeons, so vultures will have to do.

A flock of ducks that hung out on the small lake we camped at last week.

Lorikeets - in back yard of our previous house:

jmm, does the blue of the bird bath attract the lorikeets? They are gorgeous!!!

I really don't know whether the colour attracts them. The yard at that house had a lot of native flowers and since lorikeets are nectar eaters, I suspect that was the real draw.  As you can tell, they're also very gregarious birds so if one shows up, more will arrive and join in.

It really is a very social gathering, isn't it? What cool birds they are!!! Thanks for sharing that.
