How do you decorate a bathroom?
Comments (7)I usually treat it as a room. Art (not something too precious though). plants/flowers in a little pots..I like funky things, so if I can incorporate one or two-I'll do that. I love colorful patterned towels the most. I try to keep a candle there-first, candles are nice; second, very helpful if the lights go off. Actually I try to keep a candle or two in every room-I don't burn them often, but they can prove very handy. Would be fair to add that I'm extremely lucky, having two big bathrooms with plenty of light, for the past several years, and a powder room. I have embarrassing love for shower curtains too:) I need only one right now(kids' bathroom), so can't express myself fully lol. Already gave them as a gift for friends and family..five or six time maybe? Poor things. One friend was very happy though. Really been using them for years and all. So I had one fifth of success...)) Wallpaper in a bathroom is my dream. Not going to happen any time soon though. The new space is wrong for wallpaper. Stylistically. I was seriously considering papering new kids' bath only, since it's no style at all-then I arrived to a conclusion it will be a (very expensive) lipstick on a pig. So. I bought a new shower curtain..))...See MoreBathroom open shelves- how to decorate
Comments (10)We have this situation in our recent remodel bc there was a weird space in the wall (AC return, other stuff we didn't want to re-route) that forced us to have some wasted space behind the vanity. We could have just closed it up with drywall, but instead we decided to put some shelves in there. We still have some empty shelves, but this is what we have done so far: candles and bath products. For the remaining shelves, probably we will put a framed photograph, a nice piece of coral or large shell, or some pretty pottery. Below we don't have an open space like you do; it is a cabinet door. If you don't already have a good spot for a hamper, that might be a good place for one. If you already have a place for a hamper, you could put a smaller "dry-clean" hamper there for things you want to separate to take to the dry cleaners....See MoreHow to decorate and balance this bathroom space?
Comments (5)The towel rack is just too wide for the space. I'd move it to another wall, or replace it with a shorter one. You really appear to only have adequate space for the width of one towel there....See MoreHow to decorate this bathroom wall?
Comments (4)Nope, that got missed! People recommended I shrink the towel bar but didn't weigh in on what to do in the rest of the space. Hoping to get some thoughts on that. 🙂...See MoreHU-51011877
