I’m looking for advice on which white to paint my kitchen cabinets. I planning on painting the island blue (possibly sw “connors lakefront”) so I was thinking of a white with blue undertones. The only one I found so far that looked interesting was sw “ceiling bright white). For reference my walls are bm “decorators white”. I’m including a pic with of my new pulls with the porcelain tile above it which will be my new counters/backsplash that I’m currently installing.

I can recommend a color consultant for you, but thete’s about 1000 more things that go into picking ”right” color than you’ve shared. Especially when you’re covering old flat front pink cabinets, and (hopefully) using a true professional cabinet finisher who uses industrial wood coatings and not house paint. Flat fronts laminate need very specific professional processes, because they will show everything. Or they need the doors replaced. That counter would not be a first choice with those floors, etc.

Cool Chantilly Lace BM or High Reflective White SW would work.

I'm going to ask you to do a bit of soul searching. You have a lot of neutrals in a small space and a lot of styles in a small space. What are your favorite colors? What is your favorite style. Do you love the dining room, the kitchen or the living room? What makes your heart sing? If I inherited this space and furniture I would work from the dining room furniture. I think it is beautiful and unique. I would add one more color to the scheme. Maybe a dark blue with the yellows and your wicker/cane neutral. I would look for a warm neutral that works with the wicker and table top. I would probably start with testing SW Creamy and experiment from there to find a wall color that brings the table and chairs to life, Not a perfect match, but something that complements the grayish tones without going too yellow). Once I found my color I would use it on the walls - get something a bit lighter for the cabinets and keep the trim a bright white that works with the other two whites. Layering the same hue/saturation in different sheens and lightness. Might do creamy in an eggshell on the walls and a gloss on the cabinets. Your trim and furniture whites seem to be pretty close and look like a bright white. Shouldn't have to change those. I would probably use the same color on my bookshelves - again in a high gloss and leave the mantle in the bright white. I often change my mind a few times as I play with colors and layering whites. Then I would add touches of blues and yellows to all of the rooms with centerpieces, art, pillows. Add a wicker basket in the kitchen and one in the living room to hold blankets. Tie all the rooms together with just a few colors.

You could do it w/a jigsaw. (borrow or rent one if you don't have one) These are some DIY links that will walk you through it. Grab a friend w/a bit more know-how if you don't think you can manage. Revere Pewter and Repose Gray are recommended by Kylie M as good colors for cabinets. IMO, gray cabinets are a dying or dead trend. I wouldn't want to invest a lot of money in painting cabinets either of those colors, although those are warmer grays. She also recommends Ballet White or Edgecomb Gray to people who don't want white. Those are lighter warmer colors that are closer to the direction interior colors are trending right now. However, I don't think they will look good with Classic Gray walls. Chantilly Lace is the best neutral white. While there have been an awful lot of white cabinets in kitchens lately, white has been used on cabinets since the beginning of time, so I don't think it's trendy. I do think the two-toned look is trendy, but blue and white is an attractive and popular combination. You have white walls and whitish/beige floors, and are adding white/gray countertops and a white backsplash? You may have a hard time finding a white that works with your wall color and doesn't make the floor tiles look dingy. Why not consider a very parle color for the cabinets instead. Taupe, pale green, or pale blue could potentiallly work. Or paint the lowers in a deeper color next to the floors, and paint the uppers the same color as your walls.

Sounds backwards, I know, but what about putting in the counters and upgrading your lighting before you pick paint colors? If you're going with white, there are a lot of "whites" in your kitchen that are going to cause issues in finding the right one for the cabs if you don't have the basics and lighting installed already. Once that is done, you can paint sample colors (or buy peel and stick ones from samplize.com to try) and move them around at different times of day, night and in thunderstorms and other weather conditions that you experience. Take your time, first and foremost.
