Comfortable Sectional Sofa
Comments (11)Hi DBug! I have the PB Square upholstered sofa w/ chaise and the PB Comfort upholstered sectional. The Comfort has deeper seating than the Square. If I remember correctly, it's only 5 or so inches deeper but made a difference to us as I wanted a row of continuous pillows to make it extra comfy. You kind of just sink into it. The wedge corner piece on the sectional adds to the comfort. My husband and guests on the taller side notice it is more roomy as well. Your comment about looking into slipcovered sofas reminded me that before I got the pb Square, I bought two of their slipcovers to put over my old sofas and they were great. Slipped a bit but they weren't made for those sofas. Have you seen the pb slipcovered sofas in person? They look nice and I'd bet they're wonderful! Good luck! Obviously I've spent way too much time obsessing over buying sofas so if you have any other questions on fabrics or configurations let me know! Got back on to add that even though their stuff can be expensive, the thing that always makes me go back is their customer service. The wedge's cushion on our newer sectional looked like the fabric wasn't sewn right as it was rather "loose" looking. They replaced it, no problem. I know other places have great service too but I'm a creature of habit and stick with something if I know it's good!...See MoreLarge, Modular Sectional Sofa?
Comments (6)I'm partial to Lee Industries and The MT company - they have a lifetime warranty on both the frame and suspension. Both of these companies have large scale sectionals that could work. The Lee 5392 has both modular and non-modular options. The MT Oliver sectional is very large scale. Use their retailer locator to find someone near you that can help - or if you don't have one near you, I can help with either of these companies....See MoreNevio sectional. Macy’s . Anyone have experience w this?
Comments (83)Does anyone have experience or instructions for disassembling these for a move? I've contacted Macy's and they told me to contact the manufacturer (Kuka) directly, which I did, but getting very strange answers about the product, as if they don't actually know how it's put together. We have the two power recliners that are linked together. But do the arms detach also? The manufacturer is telling me to lift entire unit by the arms and they are telling me it doesn't come apart in the middle. Both of these answers seem problematic, but the items were delivered and installed by Macy's several years ago, and I can't quite remember how they were put together. I have asked Kuka directly for some sort of user's manual, but no luck....See MoreBumper Sectional Sofa Help
Comments (4)I have an old bumper sectional from Room & Board that I need to replace and I have been hunting for bumper sectionals too. I have been looking for made in the USA and something equal or better quality than what I have now. Many of the mid-high end furniture brands have customizable sectionals and you have to dig into the specifications to see if they offer a bumper option. I have not yet pulled the trigger on any of them yet.
