anyone have experience w/ 'the imposter'
Comments (10)I get a bit of B/S on mine in the early spring when we've had a particularly rainy one. It goes away once the warm weather hits. And I don't spray. With the kinds of springs we've been having the last few yrs, and especially THIS spring, I get B/S on almost all of my roses, even the most so-called resistant ones. THE IMPOSTER is a very cool rose. I love it, and I'm not a big fan of the singles. Mainly I like the speckles. It blooms almost all season and it's even in a slightly shady area of my yard, in a big pot. In my garden, it stays fairly compact, like barely 2ft tall and maybe 2.5ft wide. It would make a good rose for the front of a bed, or like I have it as a specimen in a nice pot....See MoreMalabar Spinach? Anyone have experience?
Comments (38)Thanks, Tracydr, I was going to ask about Kale. I wonder how it would do planted in fall? Have you tried Kale chips yet? I will have a narrow but very long raised bed area along the east side of my property that I'm thinking of doing a bit of a chicken wire-hoop thingy over (the bunnies appear to be quite prolific - I might have to raise some lettuce or something just for them - distractions, lol) for raising veggies. I did very little vegetable gardening last time I lived there, but I'm hoping to change that this time around. I've had it with grocery store "vegetables"....See MoreExperience w/Restoration Hardware?????
Comments (48)Sadly, I have to agree that the customer service and delivery experience are both deplorable. Beautiful catalogs and showrooms - and nice people working in the stores - but after extremely rude delivery people, a missing chair, a demand that I sign that I'd received all items when I clearly hadn't, a screaming delivery person who told me I wasn't allowed to make notes on the invoice, I just needed to sign it, an online invoice that says I paid $2500 for an order that one link later says cost $500, non-existent customer service and the pages upon pages of negative reviews related to customer service and delivery, I will not order from RH again, no matter how beautiful their products look online and in print. I spent about $10,000 on outdoor and indoor items for a recent renovation. I'm happy with most of the items themselves, but after the headache, rudeness, flippant attitudes and untrackable orders, I've decided they don't really deserve any more money from me. There are so many other places to shop! I want to feel good about where I spend my money, and this whole experience has had the exact opposite effect. Strange when a company as well-branded as RH can't figure out the basics of e-commerce and customer experience....See MoreAny one have experience with Maiden Home sectionals?
Comments (7)After my recent experience with Maiden, I do not believe all of the positive reviews. There are price discrepancies for the sectional I want to order and their customer service team was rude and talked over me when I tried to explain that there are 3 different prices being quoted for the exact same item! I was told its a website “glitch” and that the actual price of the sofa I want is more than what the website shows. Website shows $5425. By text customer service told me more than once it’s actually $5500 list price and by phone/email yet another customer service rep told me its even more- $5550! I told her i don’t trust these seemingly arbitrary price discrepancies and she said the higher price IS the price, doesnt matter what the website says or the other customer service rep says- the highest price stands, take it or leave it. If they can’t even get their story straight on the pricing, how are they gojng to get my order right? if they seem to just change their oricing arbitrailty and not honor whats written on their website- why would I trust that they are going to honor ANY of the written policies or product information on their website. Seems like they put out false information and then cal it a ”glitch” and the customer is the one who suffers for it. The difference in price won’t break me, its a few hundred- but the principle of it and the poor customer service make me wary of Maiden. Seems like an Untrustworthy company!...See MoreRelated Professionals
