Was gonna go to Home Depot and get some stuff for outside, but I’ve lost my wallet and they don’t take Apple Pay. That’s my excuse for a lazy day.

I'm sort of working in the yard, between episodes of the Great British Baking show. Needless to say, I'm not getting a lot done in the yard.

Not telling how late I slept except it was in the pm to watch Alabama game. Now I'm heating a sausage biscuit.

I hope your daughter is OK andthat her illnessis nothing serious. When I had a house and lawn people, they would get a blower and blow the grass into a pile and bag it and take it with them.

I felt that way all week. So I didn't do anything. Today I told myself I had to do one thing at a time until I was done doing all the things I had not done. ICK! But a week is too long.

You did good to let yourself relax for one day. That's good and right! No shame in that.

I stayed up until midnight last night finishing the leather upholstery on my bun foot ottoman. I ran to Joanns Fabrics yesterday & purchased 300 little decorative nail heads for the ottoman. I'm looking at videos on "How-to" apply them right now. Otherwise it's done!

We went to the park, ran, then grocery shopping for the week on the way home. I made hamburgers for lunch. Laid out in the sun, on the deck, fell asleep.

Well, I went out and cleaned up the dog mess out back, forgot about that but when I was getting something to snack on in the kitchen I remembered as I gazed out my kitchen window. I then got the kids to help me with the grass out front, I raked and they carried to my garden.

My lawn care people are dirt cheap, cheaper than anyone else around here and I don't mind them leaving the clippings in the grass. Usually it isn't a problem, but it had been so long since they mowed that it was thick and tall. So, it's all up. I did find several small piles of someone's dog poo in my front yard. WTH is wrong with people?!

Looks even more like it's going to rain today.

My daughter came by, no flu but she isn't feeling great. The NP hurriedly came out to her car and assessed her through her window. She was diagnosed with a sinus infection. I loaded her up with various soups and some pasta I had frozen for a work meal. She needed food but didn't feel like going shopping.

I'm also having a lazy mental health day, but I feel somewhat justified because I gave blood this morning. Please don't think less of me when I admit that I also used giving blood as a reason to reward myself with a new blouse when I took my daughter to shop for new school shoes this afternoon.

I am ready for a lazy day. My life is relatively stress free anyway so I am dreadfully spoiled. I am working overtime tonight. I'm watching the alabama game on my computer and hoping for a slow Saturday night like I had last week. I only had 2 days off this week so those 2 days were spent doing stuff. Cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, making candles and cubes to sell etc. I waited until the very last day in September to change our house over to "fall." Changed our bedding, plates towels, etc to my fall themed stuff. I usually stretch all my household work over 4 days off. No matter, I am happy at work surrounded by my halloween lights and stuff.

Everyone needs days off. Not just off of work, but off of everyday life. I always have so many plans for my days off work and so many things I am determined to get done, only to decide that it could wait until my next days off.......no regrets. Enjoy indulging in a lazy day once in a while. Its good for the soul..

Well, i just ate a cookie for dinner instead of the salad Ibought. i’ll get to the salad later. Maybe.

Straightened my bedroom, chatted with a neighbor, went to Whole Foods ( ka-ching), put groceries away, went to check on my mother and now Im sitting on the sofa .

I procrastinated a bit this AM, but got my act together around noon to go to the big box store to get some more 'Driveway Medic' blacktop repair tape, and then got to work after some lunch. Patching the driveway is my least favorite home maintenance chore, usually done every other year or so - but, once I get started, it is kind of mindless, not difficult work. I promised myself this year to just do about 1/3 of it each day while we had nice weather; I hoped to get it all finished today but today's section was in the worst condition, and rain came and stopped me before I finished.

I did 3 or 4 days worth of chores and errands yesterday so I could have a day of rest today. Tomorrow starts early and ends late for me. Horses in the AM and then going directly from there to a birthday party for a dear friend I haven't seen in several years along with a reunion of others. It's going to be a long day.

@raee…..I’ve never heard of such a chore or product. Sounds terrible, bending over or on hands and knees. Maybe you can get a helper.
