Comments (12)I like bitones and bicolors too. My favorite of these is Unique Style - I don't see many bicolors where the sepals are darker than the petals. I also especially like Purple Pinwheel and Jean Ivelle. Thanks for sharing these! Juliet...See MoreWhat style of jeans are you wearing?
Comments (37)I know some do not like the low rise jeans or pants but I LOVE them. Not the super low, just the lowER, just below the bellybutton so when you sit the snap does not rest under my boobs. My dd hates anything touching her bellybutton, my BFFs dd also, so the lower pants have ended a lot of arguing. I loved how the pants were higher back in the 80's with puffy shirts but I still thought they were uncomfortable so I hope the trend stays buried. Same with harem. I loved them but I was into Devo back then. I had teal blue pants and lived in them. But I was short and 14. I think I would look like an old blueberry in them now. I must say that skinny jeans PAIRED WITH THE RIGHT TOP can look really nice on a fuller figure. My sis is very heavy but always looks so pretty (even my dh says so) because she wears the right tops and flats with them. It is all the gals who wear the wrong tops that ruin it for the rest. My dd looks so cute in her skinny jeans, layered tshirts with the cap-type sleeve and Vans. Love them layered Ts, they cover her up so I will buy her as many as she wants....See MoreComfort or fashion (over 50's women)
Comments (33)oklamoni, most jeans do suck, but I buy the stretch, and also prefer the elastic waistband. (not quit as fashionable) They are more comfortable though. Does anyone know what they call the shirts that are longer in the front & back? I can't find any, and us fluffy girls need that coverage. I just hate to shop for clothes! Oh, and forget the shoes, nothing fits, I have a short wide foot, most shoes are out for me. At least the nice looking ones....See MoreFinding jeans or pants in general that fit
Comments (48)I can spend more time shlepping around and trying things on a store than it will take me to sew up my favorite pattern. Now, it is all so hard to do and the fitting room with clothing that may have been on the bodies of others is under such deep suspicion. Even before the virus, I would put a layer of protection between my body and the pants that I tried on in the store. I did that to protect me from others and to protect others from me. I would use a new and clean "light day" pad placed on the outer layer of my undergarments to keep a barrier. People are afraid of touching each other or getting within breathing range, so why try on clothes that others have had intimate contact with? That does not make any sense in these times. In normal times, we rationalize it out. I have a few pairs of ready made pants, but they are only for back up and I rarely ever reach for them. I have not been into a department store since last winter. I don't even know it the fitting rooms are even open here where I live....See MoreTina Marie
