Beetlejuice Kitchen Blue?

Ok does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this color blue?

so far ive tried:

BM Southern Belle

BM Basic Blue

BM starty Night blue

BM bistro blue

the color reader is telling me its ”Blue” yes that is the name of the BM color.

im thinking of trying it or Evening blue.

thoughts on another color/brand?

There is a purple undertone, for sure. My first suggestion isn't right.

I would not do the whole kitchen in that color I think all the botton blue and the top white like the shutters would be an awesome change . Please do not feel bad about painting cherry I have dislike cherry kitchens for a long time already . BUT please have them painted by an actul cabinet refinisher it will cost more but be worth every penny.It would be good to show your kitchen though before doing anything and IMO the first step is to address your lighting it needs to be LEDs in 4000K to make sure the colors your choose stay true at night.

Something close to the wall color pictured. You can always change the wall color after you find tile you like. The wall color doesn't need to be identical to the tile color, they just need to have the same undertone. There are hundreds of different paint colors. Bring home some tile samples and see what appears to work.

I would do the floor in a matte tile but not a wood look tile. That look was trendy a few years ago. Now having said that, if you love the wood look then who gives a heck on what's trendy or not. What about a large format tile in a matte finish? Yes, we have lived for years with white Carrera marble, and love it. We love the lived in feeling/patina it gets, and we don’t mind the occasional stains or divets from acidic fruits. We also love the natural look and movement of marble- so this slab really captured our interest. Like you I adore marble and onyx and natural stone. One of my favorite places when I lived on Long Island had a marble bar with a honed finish and lots of etches and stains. It still was gorgeous.

Might not be BM color. Yes, you can replicate colors but there is a difference between brands because of composition of bases and colorants. Try another brand.

That's more of an Ultra Marine Blue/cobalt (has a bit of purple to it)

I painted my stucco wall above my pond Ultramarine. custom mixed some colors

General Finishes Klein Blue is vibrant. I've painted numerous items w/this color.

You could take the Klein Blue and add a touch of purple to it if you want that exact shade from the movie.

I have done 3 parts blue to the one part purple and painted a console w/that color.

This is basically what that mixture looks like. I may have added a touch of Modern Masters to it too. (see next photo)

You could add a bit more purple to get more of that ultra marine/violet shade

Modern Masters Venetian Blue

Pretty darn close!

(I actually mixed this color and the Klein blue to get this shade) but it has a metallic sheen to it.

If you're painting raw wood, The Real Milk Paint in Lakeview Blue (or lagoon blue. they've changed the names) Yes, it's really this color after it's waxed.
