Quite possibly the WORST company I have ever dealt with. You would be better off purchasing your cabinets from Home Depot - you will get better customer service, warranty, and quality. Showplace cabinetry is of inferior quality and the "Lifetime Warranty" is useless. If you decide to purchase from this company do yourself a favor and take video while your cabinets are removed from packaging and document everything. NOT that this will help you in the end because Showplace will blame the installer and you for using the wrong cleaning products (BTW -the only thing I ever used to clean my cabinets is a damp microfiber cloth). In response to our warranty addressing the inconsistent spray and overall fogginess of our black painted cabinets, the Showplace rep Cheryl Eisenman responded "Worn paint, what have they been using to clean this? Her first response is to blame the client instead of getting to the root cause of their own crappy product. You think they would be concerned if this is the final result they are actually sending to the client. The only representative from Showplace I have been able to actually speak to was the local rep Jason Heiner, he actually came to our home to view the issues for himself. Jason acknowledged the majority of the issues our dealer/installer brought to the attention of the warranty department. I had hoped that since their own rep witnessed the problems it would be resolved. In the end, the majority of our claim was denied. I contacted Jason and he reached out to the head of Customer Relations Kerry Hayes and indicated I would be receiving a phone call from her. Weeks later, no phone call, I contacted Jason again. Here is his texted response....."Showplace has made the decision and passed it on to your dealer and it is now between YOU and the DEALER. Showplace communicates only with their dealer base only. Please reach out to him going forward." All I can say to that is WOW! So basically, screw you. You are at the mercy of the dealer. Our dealer failed to submit our claim within their 1-year policy. How is this the client’s fault?? Are their "specially trained" DEALERS not an extension of their company?? They do NOT stand behind their product or the dealers that they choose to do business with. Our cabinets were delivered in March of 2021 and we here we are 2 years later and none of our warranty items have been replaced. The one item that was sent was of no better quality than the original product. The pictures speak for themselves. WORST experience ever, appalling BAD customer experience.

So the contractor we were working with used only Mid-Continent Cabinets. After working with him since early June to put together a plan, he just told us yesterday he won't be able to start our kitchen until at least January. My husband is a contractor (works in commercial and medical development) questioned the breakdown of $25,000 for pretty standard cabinets which we think bugged the GC. I have $15,000 in Bosch appliances sitting in a warehouse and an engineer's plan for a beam to take out a wall. We are frustrated and disappointed. My husband is now considering coordinating our reno himself. Any suggestions on to pursue cabinet work - we our outside Orlando, FL...

We installed (ourselves) shaker inset white Conestoga RTA cabinets from & worked with Cabinet Joint to order. Would I do it again?... not sure. It was a lot of work & since RTA and factory painted, you have to plan everything super careful to account for seams, joins, etc. No t sure I would do insets again as those shows any misalignment unlike overlaps which can hide door alignment issues. The cabinets are very high quality wood and construction for the price BUT factory (white) is beginning to show yellowing around stove and garbage bin door where you touch it, etc - in other words, hard to keep factory finish looking great for long if you use your kitchen like we do. So we saved a ton of money over semi custom or custom but it was a lot of work to build, install, rewire, etc. Took me months of working by myself to do it and probably could have done a bit better job. There are some limits as to what you can do RTA but I found out after the fact, I probably could have done a bit more custom orders on a few cabs with Conestoga but I went with a more standard size which left a couple cabinets not exactly custom looking but fine (like a gap between frig and upper cab is not a exact fit but show a gap of 2-3 inches (I would have preferred it to be a built in, custom made look but nobody really notices its a nitpick. I am think they will need to be repainted after 10-12 years (white shows alot). Out painter does repaints of old cabinets and uses a specific euro product to do so . Hi Hinman Construction! Thank you so much for contributing some positive and encouraging comments regarding Greenfield cabinetry. Probably 96% of reviews I write are positive because I hate writing negative ones. However, I also appreciate it greatly when other's reviews save me some headache. So I wanted to put my experience out there. Two year update: The cabinets are holding up well. Long shelves have not sagged, and bowed fronts have not grown worse. The finish is hard and strong but does not clean well. A Greenfield rep did respond to me at some point, told me he would connect me to a local rep and then never did, even after a reminder. The designer sent her own expert cabinet installers and adjusters out. They determined the only fix would be to have new doors made to fit the openings better. They could not adjust the doors/drawers enough to correct the closures. So I've just been living with doors and drawers that drag, overlap half the year, and look badly fit. I absolutely LOVE the kitchen! Decisions were made carefully with function and looks in mind. Fortunately, the cabinets are the only poor choice. Having said that, due to the solid materials and beautiful design options of Greenfield, some different choices probably would have left me completely happy with them. #1-Don't choose inset doors! They don't fit well. Also, the cabinet edges where trash cans and dishes slide are visible where the paint wears. (Not really Greenfield's fault.) #2-Definitely DON'T combine inset doors with the butt style hinge. They look so classic, but they leave no ability to adjust doors. #3-Even if sheen is not preferred, don't choose a matte paint finish if you want fingerprints to disappear. Partial or full overlay door and drawer fronts with adjustable hinges and a slightly "sheened" paint finish would solve the things that don't looks so great in our kitchen. Ending on a positive note, I would highly recommend the use of drawers everywhere possible. Greenfield's huge drawers are solid and awesome! It is good to hear that you have had a good track record with this company. I like the idea of supporting a smaller US company.
