Lighting and Table Color/Style
We are moving into this home in a week! We will be taking all the valances down and painting the walls egret white. We will be re-finishing the floors down the road but for now, just looking for help on lighting styles (black or woven?) and a table. I was thinking a round table that is 60' and maybe black but open to any ideas?! Also needing bar stools. Do I stick with wood or do black/cream/tan leather? I love the Scandinavian look however trying to go with the style of this home and make it work. Thanks!!
We will not be painting the trim/cabinets but will be doing countertops/backsplash and appliances in the next year. (Pictures have current owner's furniture)

Comments (11)I assume you've tried to center the table under ceiling lighting, which appears very inadequate, especially if it is only a ceiling fan with light kit. I suggest you use that ceiling electric to install extended, adjustable track lighting that will cover more of your walls and the table top. Be sure to adjust one of the lights to wash the wall in the recess for your sideboard and art. Looks like you have an outlet there to add a nice table lamp....See More

2 years agoThank you! What great ideas!! I did find a round black table that does expand to 82 or 86. Can’t remember! I’m loving the egret white. We will need new blinds now.
