Looks like you have it thought out. I would suggest picking your roof color before you pick your paint color. Paint color is much easier to change over the years. Personally, I would pick a very neutral shade such as grey or black (like you suggested). This way you have many other color options for the color of your home as time goes on. You can find a beige/grey to soften the red in your brick. Versus a cooler grey (Wow that looks really blue next to the top one- but when by themselves, they both look more grey) It will be nice to see how your roof impacts the look of your home over the course of the year and throughout the different seasons. I am not sure where you are located but a north facing home, in the northern US, a grey will take on more of those blue tones. Yes, I would make those attic vents blend in. Get a modern-looking garage door with some windows. It's a big part of the visual, so it matters.

Hi and thanks cat_ky and ff palms. The siding is Boral and we were told it must be painted. I also liked it in this "natural" variegated look. So we will ahve to paint. Thanks PPF - we can't extend that siding down because stone terrace will be there up to the doors. This has to do with a rule in our town so that our basement won't count as a floor (even though the basement is partially underground).

Our house has been added on to a few times. The front door is actually the back door. To the right of it is a slider. We are trying to make it more obviously the main door so we moved the door more to the center and added board and batten. The gray and white are where we have changed it. It is just primed. The green color to the left is the current house color. I love the green because of where we live (eastern washington). But my husband wants to change it since he is doing all the work to repaint. He also wants it to match our outbuildings which are a steely gray blue. I really really really don't want a gray house! Blue is fine but I'd prefer a warm blue with off white trim to avoid going coastal. Any ideas appreciated!! Thanks! Work your magic!
