How many curtains to hang on this trio of difficult windows?

I have three floor to ceiling windows, which are vertically split into two (the smaller of the two being about 1/3 of the entire height of the window). One end of the trio is flush with the wall, leaving an uneven amount of wall on either side. On top of that, the height of the room (and window) is roughly 9 feet 6 inches. Most curtains are made for eight feet and ten feet, so there isn't a perfect fit within my budget.

I got some 10 foot white curtains to hang. One pair came later so I went forward with the four curtains for three windows. The final pair arrived recently and I hung the third pair of curtains.

I'm looking for advice: which looks better? Are there any significant differences in style differences between the two? What about utility like insulation or noise reduction?

Here's 2 pairs / 4 curtains covering 3 windows

Here is 6 curtains hanging on 3 windows

Thanks!
