Positive thoughts for conitined recovery and for staying well. This d@mn virus is far from over. I just learned that my niece and her husband had it. She was stuck in another country while recovering and he ended up in the hospital. I thought they were vaccinated. Both very intelligent people, but who knows.

Prayers for everyone affected by this virus. It seems most children don't get as sick as adults. My niece's daughter, who is about 9 years old, had it and other than vomiting once, she felt fine. I wish it could be like that for everyone.

Got a text from my son awhile ago, he's tested NEGATIVE! ! ! ! He is still pretty weak and short of breath due to lung damage, but he's on the road to recovery! ! ! Thank the Good Lord! ! ! !

And again and again, thank you to everyone here for all the prayers, positive thoughts and moral support! ! ! ! It means so much to me!

Now we just have to get the Great-Grands well! ! ! ! ! ! !

I am very pleased to read of this very positive outcome. But it is not always the case and we need to keep that clearly in mind.

M ex-DH, hospitalized only two weeks, one of which was in ICU on a ventilator, passed away Saturday afternoon. Although in relative good health, at 73 and unvaxxed (primarily due to not yet getting around to it), he progressed rapidly into complete organ failure from which his medical team determined he would never recover, so the decision was made to remove him from the vent and all other life support.

Our daughter, to whom he was devoted, is devastated because she could not see him, could not talk to him and could not say any goodbyes. At 31, this is her first up close experience with a death and it is very difficult to take in. And so completely avoidable.

And I am very happy to report that both son and DIL got their vaccinations yesterday! !

Great-grands seem to be staying about the same, low grade temps, slight coughs, not really sick, but not feeling all that good, either. Please keep them in your prayers and good thoughts!
