My turn for advice...
Comments (4)Rager you are welcome but when you say Purple Clover, do you mean the flowers or leaves. If you mean the leaves it is not clover. Secondly if it is clover and your Bermuda is actively growing, it should choke it out assuming you are mowing correctly. If your phosphorous levels are high not much you can do except quit using fertilizers with phosphorous for the next few years until the levels drop below normal. One last though is the area with clover in an area that is wetter than the rest of the surrounding area?...See MoreNow it's my turn to ask for advice.
Comments (5)Don't mind me, I'm just rambling...like I don't have anything better to do! haha Auck! I HATE bras! I'm sorry I can't offer any advice here for what you want/need. Personally I feel very uncomfortable and confined while wearing a bra. I've always heard that you must support yourself with a bra...to 'prevent' sagging, or whatever else 'they' want to tell you. Of course, one was considered a 'bad girl' way back then if you did not wear a bra. Maybe it's STILL that way today - I donno... (Oh! BTW - Have you always worn a bra? If so, did it help to prevent sagging? I'm curious if the myth holds true!) Unfortunately (?-lol), I don't have that problem of big boobies sagging...I have little boobies sagging down to my waist :~) Many years ago my Mother was in hospital for some reason & she asked me to go buy her a bra...a certain underwire "Ahh-Bra" from ~Sears~. Well, heck...I didn't know nothing. It took me a couple hours probably to find 'the exact match', but I found it, (I think?) I later went back and tried some for myself, and I started buying these for myself. They were great while they lasted. Many years later, I needed to have a breast biopsy & was told I need to have a tight or "snug" fitting bra. Well, since I had been only using bras for work and ripping them off first chance I had (which was usually in car on way home from work LOL!), I went shopping. Took HOURS to find one that 'worked'. So many choices - so much time trying them on in dressing room. The ol' 'Ahh-Bras' were at various stores by now - not just Sears... Of course like everything else, the 'new improved' were out for purchase. The old trusty not to be found. (I had lost a lot of weight within a year, thus my boobies shrunk too) What I found to be most insane...even tho the bra fit great, they started using a different THREAD stitching - like nylon or something! So, that 'plastic' thing was jabbing me in the back and everywhere...VERY uncomfortable. Well, I hate shopping for clothes. I hate trying on clothes. Haha - I am SO low maintenance! So I have a question for all: Is there REALLY evidence of any bad 'complications' of NOT wearing a bra? No 'advice', but: Why don't we all just "let 'em sag naturally"? Or, maybe it's time for suspenders? lol....See Moreclean post wedding night advice for virgin
Comments (10)she doesn't want to be your instructor. I wouldn't want to be. It's a bit stereotypical, but 1) I didn't sign on to be husband's mom (the person who tells you how to do everything); and 2) I would want my DH to be a bit "masterful"--maybe that makes me an antifeminist, but so what. I want him to know what HE wants, and to be assertive enough to go for it. I also find it to be a real burden when there is TOO much emphasis on whether *I* am having a good time. Sometimes I don't have THAT good a time, and you know what? I resent the pressure that somehow I *ought* to. It isn't all about me; sometimes it's about HIM and what makes HIM feel good. When it's too much me, I get really turned off. She also may never really have thought that much about what, specifically, is exciting to her; she may have simply reacted during the event. And, sometimes, talking about something that coldly and clinically may actually make it *less* enticing later. I think most of us will give indications when something feels good, and when something doesn't. So you'll want to pay attention to her cues. I would just say to ask her not to fake anything, and to, *during the event,* guide you if she wants to. Also, I believe (though I have no way of knowing for sure) that the things that "work," are actually relatively common across the spectrum of women. The "wiring" is the same; the sensitive spots are the same. If you start with those basic ideas (do not rely on pornography to find out what they are, bcs pornography is all about the mental stimulation of the MALE MIND, and not the female body), then it's all about: -the mood on any particular day (yours, hers, the two of yours together) -the pressure or tempo of any particular thing, which can change without your realizing it, and for which you need to watch her cues It's all about the event, the experience when it happens. You kinda have to be there. Also, don't place too much pressure on yourself. You have a lifetime of sex ahead of you. Sure, this night has all sorts of mystique attached, but it's just the beginning. There are plenty of chances to perfect it, try out variations. The first time is about simply connecting. Pyrotechnics are not required. And if you want to do some "academic" research, there's the classic "the joy of sex," and "sex: the manual"...See MoreMy turn for backsplash advice!
Comments (22)phylhl, you are not alone in making creative use of your photocopier! Check out oldbat2be's thread on this. Pretty good idea, might just have to get my printer fixed. (It died mid-reno, I suspect from construction dust.) MareLuce, that's one reason I liked the travertine -- it complements the island top nicely. It was suggested to me that travertine in a larger format might look more contemporary than 3x6s, but I just don't know. And then there's the whole "pink elephant in the room" problem. (Will the travertine stay beige, or will it turn pink in the room?) Ack -- this is hard! Maybe I like the painted splash just fine! Here is a link that might be useful: photocopied tile...See Moreeld6161
