Which white paint colors have you tried that make the counter look yellow?

Have Silestone Calacatta gold. Needed 2 slabs. Matched well, but there is verrrrrry little gold, but went with it anyway because we preferred the veining over Classic. You must go and see the actual slabs side by side to compare the look. And don't forget to look at the different finishes.

I agree with TCK, but it can be done. I have Silestone Lagoon and Miram Blanc marble tile from The Tile Shop and it looks great. Also no grease issues that some warn about with marble. My tile looks the same...going on 5 or 6 years now. I think I did the kitchen around 2012 or 13. I like Lagoon a lot better than Lyra personally. And Lagoon isn't too white...actually has a bit of gray to it.

Last year it took me hours and two visits to a MSI showroom to select the counters for two projects totaling 12 kitchens. I had never used a man-made stone before and I found the Quartz marble-like patterns to be unconvincing and inelegant but the granite-like patterns were much better and the best of those was Macaubas Wave that was elegant and understated which is what I think a large piece of stone in the middle of a house should be especially if you will be preparing and eating food on it. Color and texture is best provided by utensils, dishwater and accessories. It was not in a high price range but It was a new pattern and not in the online catalog. I don't know if they still sell it.
