Hi! Can someone tell me if my bamboo palm has root rot or another problem? I have had this plant for over a year and it has always done reallt well aside from having aphids or scale (not sure which) that i have treated with Dr Earth Final Stop Insect Killer. It seems to have helped as it has been probbably 6-9 months since I discovered them and there only occasional dead fronds. Overall its a pretty luscious plant. But within the past 2 weeks I discovered that two of the taller stalks had turned brown and some of their fronds were dying. So after researching whether or not to prune them I went ahead and cut tem off. I also brought it outside to dry out the soil more. I see that one of the stalks appears half brown inside, while the other is completely brown, and I am thinking that could be a sign of root rot. Can someone confirm? And advise on what to do to prevent the rest of the plant from dying?
