Hi Kayla - overall I like the dual fuel range. My husband loves the digital meat thermometer that came with it and we've made the best prime rib roasts since we've gotten this oven. The pre-heat does take awhile but we've gotten used to it. I've made cookies and they turn out great. We have also started using the lower oven more if we're baking something in a shallow dish, frozen garlic bread, rolls and etc. because it doesn't take as long to heat up. We've used the griddle to make sandwiches and pancakes and I'm happy with how that works and the easy clean up. I would say the stove top is easy to scratch if you aren't careful when you clean around the burners. Make sure you lift the grates up, off and set aside to clean and not just lift the front of the grates so you can wipe underneath. You'll scratch the little raised lip on the back of the stove top with the burner grates. I'm still not crazy about the overall height of the stove top but that's not really a fault. My husband on the other hand (6'2" tall) LOVES the dual range and all of it's features. He would highly recommend it to everyone. I like it. We also bought the matching over the range microwave. We bought it because you can bake in it and I thought we would really use that feature a lot but have found it takes a really long time to pre-heat the oven feature of the microwave and you have to use this little round raised baking rack which I have very few dishes that will fit, actually none now that I think about it. I thought it would be more like my old toaster/convection oven that sat on my counter top and it's really not at all. For the most part we just use the microwave to re-heat and warm things. bj, i just posted on another thread...can't remember what it was called, but I talked about my Kitchenaid....piece of crud! I'm not happy w/ it at all. I bought the counterdepth - 36" wide - & french door. I do not like the FD's....at all. When I open them, they do not feel like they've been sealed well after closing. I can pretty much open them w/ my baby finger without any resistance! That makes me feel it's not very economically friendly! Even tho, every time I close them, I have to almost body slam them to make sure they are really closed & not a little bit opened. I would not recommend a FD fridge to anyone! I also think the inside is cheaply made. The drawers aren't on a track or anything so they kind of wobble when opening & closing. Not that it really matters, but it just seems to be cheaply made. I'm actually going back to the store I bought it from today to tell them I hate this fridge!!! I've had it about 2 months so probably not much we can do about it, but I just don't care for it. Oh well, if the french doors are the worst thing & everything else holds together well, I guess it'll be ok. We'll see tho. Good luck, it doesn't seem like there are many fridges out there unless you spend around $6K.

I have a Bosch dual fuel range (slide in) that is about 1" away from the wall/backsplash. I have never noticed it sticking out until I read this and then went to look, lol. It does, but if I've never noticed it, it doesn't bother me. The range itself is about 2 1/2" out from the base cabinetry. But I know what you mean if you want the 24" deep Thermador look. Personally, I would invest in an integrated refrigerator, using money saved from the Thermador and/or GE. The refrigerator is a much larger appliance and it's "sticking out" is more obvious than the counter height range. ("Counter depth" refrigerators also stick out; only fully integrated are flush.) I have 18" between the range and the next full height bank of cabinetry which includes a flush Thermador microwave/convection oven. The cabinetry sticks out 1" from the countertop and 2" from the 18" base cabinet farther than it should, a custom construction error I don't want to talk about. But that would be about the same as the space between your refrigerator and range if both "stick out." That 18" is good enough for my small Keurig and that's about it. It also has wall cabinetry above it because I used a hidden Zephry Pisa undercabinet range hood, so I don't have the "open" look you'll get from your range hood. That 18" of usable space is the same, however. We don't cook much at all (I hate it). I've had a Thermador dual fuel range and now this Bosch. Years ago, when I did have to cook, I had GE Monogram wall ovens and glass cooktop. Other than much preferring the gas, I can't think of major differences between all of them, or being unhappy with any of them.

Some of this depends on how you use your burners, high heat vs simmer, -what kind of cookware you have-cast iron or steel vs copper, aluminum or other highly heat conductive metals -how big is your cookware? do you use wide frying pans? How do you use your oven? Broiler? What type of oven do you have now, gas or rlectric? Have you looked at the Bluestar ranges? Are you set on a range? Have you considered a rangetop and a wall oven or ovens? The 36” range takes linger to preheat.
