Our 1960’s ranch has had its cedar planking and shingles painted over at least twice since before we moved in. We would like to find a paint that can get close to a cedar color since it’s probably impossible or too expensive to strip off all the previous paint layers. So far we’ve gotten samples of SW 3029 (ember) which seems too orange, and BM Natural Cedartone. I’d appreciate any recommendations. I’ve attached two photos. Thanks!
