No black grout- white everywhere.

I feel like I want to outline the shape of the arabesque when it’s done, what are your thoughts on gray, my island will be white with grayish black veining

Too busy- your pretty materials choices will be dominated by the grout.

Oh no, black would be the last color I would choose for this grout (and I LOVE black as a color). Do a sample board first and see if you still think it's a great idea. This tile will be a nightmare to regrout if you hate it.

I was also thinking of black grout on only mother of pearl above range to make them pop, then white or light gray on arabesque? 😬

Sorry but black will ruin the mother of pearl. All the beautiful subtle shading will be obliterated by the black grout. Your kitchen your choice.

There are many shades between black and white :) If you have extra tile, I would absolutely do a sample board and try your top 2 grout choices before committing. I did a very light gray grout with white tile and the herringbone shape really stands out.

I agree with lucky. My DD did a very light silver eith her subway tiles. just enough tomdefine the shape.

Glad you asked before going ahead with black - you dodged a bullet. Go with white or off white. I agree with trying it out on a sample board if you’re still unsure.

Has anybody used mapei 3D transparent glitter grout with white glass tile, I was going to try it on sample board first. Also some light silver/gray grout

You need grout that matches the tile color. Consider the backsplash like texture. The main thing is the counter. You don’t want them to compete.
