Do you have a sofa on wheels?

Does anyone have a sofa on casters? I'm curious if they move relatively far distances with ease, and in all directions. I am trying to create a living room area that can easily be moved into the next room and the sofa is of course the heaviest, most cumbersome piece of furniture. Thank you in advance!

I think you mean castors, and yes, I do have a sofa on castors. Does it make it easy to move? Easier than if it were not on castors. I didn't buy for mobility, I bought sofa with castors for the look. I think Jennifer Taylor products seem good. My sofa is from Interior Define. Love it.

Well I am familiar with the store- they have middle quality furniture and they are pretty reputable. I know lots of people who have purchased from them~ I was more interested in the particular sofa set. When I google for that, I don't get any hits, which is why I am hoping maybe someoen has some knowledge or experience with that.

What do you have on wall behind your sofa?

I have a sectional sofa and the short side is on the wall side, the wall is about 84 from the opening on one side to the opening on the other side, and the sofa consumes about 72 inches on that wall side. My walls are tall, so I have hung a custom piece of art, 72 inches tall x 45 inches wide. My sectional has a low back as do most of them and as my walls are tall, I needed something to fill the space and also I did not want more than about 2/3 to 3/4 of the firm wall filled. The canvas was purchased locally and #1 son did the artwork, very abstract (totally outside of his usual painting, but very good nonetheless).

I'm not sure I would use the BB on the ceiling. It could go too dark. We just painted our back entry - the short little hall that runs from the door to the garage and our kitchen - BB for continuity's sake, since it's right next to the kitchen that is painted BB. The only natural light we have coming in is from the adjoining laundry room, so it tends to be a dark area. The BB is a touch dark looking which kind of surprised me. But in our larger kitchen area with a lot more lighting, it doesn't look dark at all. If it were me, I'd probably do a lighter version of it, or just do plain ol' white. What room are you painting? I used to paint ceilings the same as the room, or a lighter version of it, and while it looked nice, I always regretted it. I am a serial re-painter and usually do the work myself, so I now just stick with white and don't paint the ceiling every time I paint the walls.

I hate to say with ease just because a sofa is awkward and heavy, so it is nothing like moving a desk chair with larger castors. Maybe you can find something similar in a local furniture store and give it a try.

I like furniture coasters or hand towels under legs for moving pieces on hardwood.

BTW love the sherbet sofa....what else are you doing in the room for colors?

I'm lovin' green again....flash back to my 60's decor. We called it "Avocado". Probably why I like the sherbet color....sick of gray.
