What about some larger, modern metal numbers running vertical down the left front of the house?

Nice colors and house. It is very difficult to see where the front door is. Darker color for the garage doors, so they don't stand out as much. Put large numbers vertically on that lighted portion between the front door and the garage doors. Paint the front door the cream color or a bright coordinating color. Though you didn't ask about landscaping, I would remove the gumdrop shrub and the small plants that block the front step. Add a wide, well-lit walkway starting at the current edge of the front lawn and put in a generous step up to the front door to help guide visitors and draw the eye toward the front door and away from the garage doors.

House numbers are there so that people can see them, when they are looking for an address. Please buy large house numbers that will show up, driving by, and put them on the front corner of the house like Amy Lynn suggests. Its one of my pet peeves, to not be able to see house numbers, when I am looking for an address driving in the car.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! I've removed the shrubs and plants blocking the door. We're putting in new landscaping and painting the front door a bright color. I'm not sure about what color to paint the garage door though.

I'm still on the fence about the house numbers. My street is not well lit and I'm worried if I put them on the front corner they won't be visible at night. So I was thinking about putting them on the garage below the light. However, it's further from the street and I'm worried about finding numbers that are large enough to be easily seen. I'd love to install a cute address plaque but most of the numbers are only 5" tall.
