St Francis of Assisi the patron saint of animals sits on daughters picnic shelter. It is meant to be a bird bath. For more than 20 years now it collects loose change that family and friends drop in to it after enjoying wonderful meals and friendship there. It is all donated to charity at the end of the picnic season each year. There was more that $40.00 in it last week.

On our way home after a week in Ohio at the Soap Box Derby. Proud of my great niece and nephew who placed 2nd in two different races, one receiving a college scholarship.

jrb451, I was up late last night - until almost 5 a.m. It happens sometimes, but I'm not happy about it. I got 5 hours of sleep last night, which is minimally enough.

You can see that I need to be removing more weeds.

The weeds have all returned to my garden beds!!! Blech!!!

I just purchased 15 Large/8" white lilies & 24 small/4" red lilies to plant in a bed together.

After I planted them today, we got 3 hours of hail & rain.....this is what's left of the ones that were opened. They were almost done anyway.....looking forward to next year!

Not the best picture but the mule's lower lip relaxed into super cuteness as I gave him an ear massage today. Love those ears. Love these boys.
