Good Morning, Everyone! Smoke, thank you for the photos and info on those peppers. I hope you don't think I was trying to discourage anyone from trying them, I just felt bad that I couldn't give them any information on them. Wouldn't it be neat if we could name one of the peppers Smoke's Mystery Pepper, or Smoke's Russian Roulette Pepper? You would be famous : ) BTW, do you grow your own Mexican Oregano, or buy the dried leaves somewhere. I have a perennial herb bed, and grow lots of annual herbs in pots, but haven't tried to grow that one yet. I do know that my dried herbs taste waaaay fresher than what you can buy at the grocery store. My husband bought a smoker a year or two ago, but I hadn't really given any thought to making my own dry rubs before. He can't tolerate much heat, but maybe I can come up with a blend that incorporates some milder peppers as well. Thank you for the inspiration!!! Thank you, Tanya and Randy, for the kind words! Thanks for finding that photo, Elphaba (shown below). That helps answer my question because I don't like how wide those shelves look over the toilet. I also don't like how narrow the ones are in my 2nd photo above (exact width of toilet). So, I need something in between toilet width and 30." I plan to use these shelves mostly for products that I use either in or right after the shower (shower gels, scrubs, creams). These are products with really nice containers and/or labels that I picked up in France and elsewhere, so they are decorative. The shelves are also functional in that they keep non-everyday items out of the shower. Hi everyone, thank you so much for your feedback. So, we're really confused about what to do. We brought our concerns up to the contractor and although HE said that he's never had an issue with them failing..we still feel that they are not very sturdy and don't quite believe what he's saying. So, I have a question for everyone: do we need to start all over and buy the brackets with new shelves, or is it easy to just order the brackets and have them go over the existing shelves that he built? We have 10 shelves: 2 of them are about 38" long, 2 are 31" log, 2 are 66" long and 4 are 24" long. He has started to build/install many of them, but has not finished any of them. We're driving ourselves crazy and don't know what our next step should be. Would simply buying the mentioned brackets be sufficient with the existing shelves he built? Or do we need to also do new shelves that will work with these brackets? These are NOT purchased floating shelf units; he built these. Thank you for your help.
