And don't include the word 'tomato' or 'tomatoes' when searching the tomato forum or 'pepper' or 'peppers' when searching the peppers forum or you get everything. The search here isn't like Google. You want a very specific search here not general net-wide searching. So you want to use specific terms like "soil preparation" or "add to soil" or "add to garden" and leave out all the a, and, the, conjunctions. But you can't rule out posts that come up on your search just by the title since people notoriously choose some really strange titles for their posts. For example, the post My Stupidest Gardening Mistake happens to contain lots of soil preparation info. :) Dave

The mirror is very pretty, and I think it would work with the furnishings. There have been several discussions here in the past about having a mirror in the dining room or area so that people can see themselves eating. Seemed that quite a few didn't like the idea of watching themselves chew, others said it didn't bother them.

Auntjen, thanks for the feedback. I do love having things in my home that remind me of my family. I'm not clear, tho, on your recommendation for waxing the lamp. Do you mean the greenery makes it look like it needs a good wax job and without the greenery it's fine? Or are you recommending that I wax the lamp regardless of whether or not I put the greenery alongside it? I haven't any idea of what I'd look for if I were to wax the lamp. Any help?

fori, I have thought about moving that mirror to the hall and getting a different type mirror or a painting for above the fireplace. My girls call it a church mirror. They say it looks like it belongs in a church! ha Sometimes kids are the most honest...Any suggestions for type mirror or painting to replace the mirror if I did move it....Decisions, decisions!! Thank you for pointing out that the vent needed to be painted. You are so right. That is the great thing about posting on here. Others see things that you don't see, as you look at it everyday.
