"Would switching the sink/DW and stove/30" base be okay?" No. The range should be in the most protected part of the Kitchen, not the busiest. Where I put the sink will be the busiest part of the Kitchen, especially if you cannot move the hall doorway. The corner will be the least busy/most protected area. Corner sinks limit access to them. It's not usually a problem with a range b/c only one person usually works at them. However, with a sink, you can often have two people trying to use it and, when it's in a corner, that becomes an issue. Also, corner sinks can be problematical when it comes to placing the DW. You have to be sure you have enough space between the sink and the DW to be able to stand at the sink while the DW is open, usually 12" to 18". So on the Mudroom wall, it would have to be sink, then 18" cabinet, then 24" DW, then 1" support wall, then 1.5" counter overhang. There isn't enough room for all of that on the Mudroom wall. Putting the DW b/w the range and sink is another thing that should be avoided, if possible. It limits how many people can be working in the Kitchen because now your Cleanup Zone and Prep Zone are one in the same...one person can be prepping -OR- one person can be cleaning up or unloading the DW. It can also be unpleasant to work over a running DW. You are also limited in the size of the sink basin. It needs to fit in the cabinet without compromising the integrity of the sink base (or voiding the warranty if you hack it). It can often be forced farther back than recommended to get a decent size sink. If you are planning an apron sink, you may need even more space in the corner, which would cause you to lose more cabinet space. GWer Marandall did a 30"W corner apron sink and she needed 52" on each wall of the corner, not counting the space b/w the sink and DW. The corner range takes around 48" on each side and there's no worrying about space for an accessible DW next to it. "Then I could eliminate the wall oven entirely and go with a microwave hood that we have today." I would stay away from an OTR MW, they are lousy hoods and, at best, mediocre MWs. You will be much better off with a true range hood and a separate MW. I understand you have one now, but why not improve on what you have if you're going to spend all the $$ on a remodel. If you just want a range and don't need a second oven, you could hang the MW on a shelf under the uppers/over the counter on the "back" wall next to the refrigerator, create a Tea/Coffee & Snack Center, and even add an 18" pantry cabinet (assuming you want one). (Or, get a MW drawer - I love mine!) A standard MW on a shelf can easily and inexpensively be replaced when it dies, unlike an OTR MW. You never did say whether you could move the Hallway door. It would make your Kitchen much more functional if you could.

Follow up: We ended up having our remodel guy modify the cabinets to accommodate a 30 inch oven. We went with a Kitchenaid double oven in Black Stainless, which actually pretty closely matches the Tuscan Stainless color of our fridge! I searched all over the country for this oven, including at our local Best Buy, and couldn't find it available. Then, one day, I went back to Best Buy and the guy there said they had five of them in the warehouse. He was in specialty sales and gave me about a $500 discount on it, so I jumped on it. I will say, this oven makes a lot more noise than our old GE oven, which never made any sound unless in the cleaning cycle. During the whole preheating cycle, the convection fan runs, but then will shut off when the oven gets to the preset temp. Then, after the oven turns off, an audible fan runs until the oven temp drops to a certain temperature. The main thing is, my wife loves it! We also had the cabinets to the right of the oven modified from shelves to pull out drawers, which makes it much easier to access items in the back.

aw, you're welcome. Do you have a live edge table/ resin in the center? If the set has a 'natural' vibe, imo another light would go better. Partly I say because your art and sculpture needs visual room of its own; the more variety of looks, whether lighting or other, the 'busier' it'll get. So in other words, the dining set doesn't need the unusual angles of the Lab, but the 'spare sputnik' was less... unusual is the word? I thought a bit of wood in chandelier could pair with, and create more of a 'dining place'... drum shade is a nice basic. But in the kitchen, though open, could use a tad more variety.... I see you posted a linear light, and it's severe a little, hanging as though in a den/office. Yeh, an island, I see what you mean. However, if LED for kitchen had a decorative feature, it might look like typical ambient lighting, in the middle.

Congratulations on your new baby! With a toddler, too, that's a handful. The sheer volume of baby and toddler bottles and dishes is amazing. The more that can go in the dishwasher, the better. If the gap next to the dishwasher can be made usable with shelves and walling off the dishwasher, it may help tide you over with more storage. With a newborn and a toddler, it may be a year or so before you can actually start a remodel. My suggestion is to draw up a floor plan that is a duplicate of what you have now, then use the online planner to get an estimate for the duplicate. There's no need to actually go to Ikea to use their planner online.
