please help me decorate outdoor space!
Comments (4)Yes I think we will out the grill here and was thinking to put the smoker and cushion storage on deck tucked in that corner. Kitchenette and kitchen are right off the door to the inside. Yes pergola will have boards across but not major actual coverage from sunlight and weather. It’s still under construction. Also waiting for stair to be added around porch where drawn. Pergola is large at 16x9 so think a table would look small there. Thinking of putting table in area off deck by garage wall centered. Then was thinking of outdoor couch and chairs circled around in pergola. Just not sure what to put in the deck outside the diagonal window... another love seat or chairs? Might be nice to sit outside in covered area of rain or sun......See MoreOutdoor Halloween Decoration Ideas for this house?
Comments (6)I'm. not a fan of Halloween but I have fallen in love with this handmade wreath. The owner will make it without the bird (I don't care for that and have my own idea). https://www.etsy.com/listing/635191755/halloween-wreath-gothic-home-decor-wall?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=black+halloween+wreath&ref=sc_gallery-1-2&plkey=f63135da18ce2acea9ccfa62afed6eaa4d7e8be6%3A635191755&cns=1...See MoreOutdoor Decor Help!
Comments (1)Since the sofa that you have chosen is ivory and the concrete patio is gray concrete, I would use this opportunity to add some color. I would do the ivory for both the chairs and the sofa, and add colorful pillows and perhaps a patterned rug. You don't say what else is in the yard: is there grass, planters, flowers, pool? Neutral furniture, neutral rug, neutral pillows, all on a gray concrete slab seems pretty washed out to me, but if you have greenery and colorful flowers, it might work. Need more information. I like the sofa and chairs, though the stripe is not my personal taste, which, of course, doesn't matter at all!...See MoreHow to prep outdoor wood for indoor decor?
Comments (2)I live on a very wooded property with lots of bugs. I've never had an issue with bringing in bugs from the outdoor wood, pine cones, etc. If you're really worried, wipe any dirt off the pine cones and place them inside a garbage bag or a large ziploc. Close the bag up for a week or two. Leave it in the garage or outside while closed....See Moremtnrdredux_gw
