I like the classic black and white. I would just add one bright color to the space. You can either use a colored shower curtain and rugs, OR paint the walls a bright color and keep the white curtain. The biggest eyesore in the room is the block window. Any way to change that?

cute. I'd leave the tile as is, and spend every dime you can on a new vanity/sink/mirror and light.

what's there now does not work w/the vintage style.

This would be perfect. smaller mirror, some sconces (you need new lights)

black soapstone looking countertop, white vanity, and a period appropriate harware and fixture.

also a perfect vanity. chrome vintage style fixtures, the medicine cabinet mirror is perfect, so are the sconces. if you can't do those, get diff vanity lights.

they did some soft blues/greens for color accents

any of these others would also work

want wood? do something like this, white top, black round mirror and lights. chrome

this one w/the mirror style (it's too small, but the shape is fine) the pull-chain sconces, and the glass shelf, would also work

these next 4 show wall mount sinks. you could look at salvage places and find one of these, or find a reproduction. I think they look great w/your style.

You could do a diff mirror and bring in some shelving over the toilet. some natural wood will warm up the whites.

I'd get a new shower curtain.

if you can't do sconces, think about doing a smaller mirror, and similar lights over it like this

a smaller mirror like this (in black) would look good. chrome fixtures in the vintage style.

consider painting the wall a dark charcoal. notice the oval mirror and vintage style sconces.

I don't like the sink they did, but the wall color is cool.

Is it possible that curtain could provide one block of color -- as oppose to painting the vanity also... I like what you have. And that sinktop seems chunky, like toilet top-a little thing. The' lines' seem ok.

If the floor and wall tile is in good condition, keep it all. You can add color with rugs, towels, art under glass, and a shower curtain. A hinged glass shower door would drip all over the floor unless you squeegee the door before getting out of the shower. I don’t know if the tub edge is wide enough for a glass sliding door.

Frosted glass would work to replace the glass block, but you could just keep your shower curtain partially closed.

I've never had glass block, but I installed a small 'basement' window in my bathroom, and loved it - fresh air along with shower. I could peek up to see stars...

I really like Beth's suggestions. I think you should look for a simple medicine cabinet and two sconces on either side.

Someday when finances allow, replace the glass block window with a good quality double hung or casement with frosted glass.
