i have the delta trinsic with no problems at all. i love the faucet but what really sold me on delta is the customer service. i have a 15 year old house with builder grade delta shower faucet hardware. i called delta because one shower handle was cloudy and they sent me a new one immediately. i also called to get a new spout with the same wonderful cs and part sent for free. i am a delta fan!

I can't post pics, but will suggest you get the stainless braided hose on the faucet...and the washing machine. I really do not like the high rise faucets that have a 90* bend in them. When they leak at the sprayer head, which is just a threaded connection and can loosen over time, the water will leak back down the faucet tube into the cabinet below the sink. You may not see it and you end up with damage. I have a kitchen faucet with the 180* bend so the nozzle is pointing down. If it leaks it leaks into the sink. I made the mistake of getting one of the horizon units for the laundry sink and I find myself, after a couple incidents, looking under that sink all the time. I am going to change that faucet out.

Our water heater is set at a typical 120-130F, so nothing unusual. And we rarely run things at full hot for long. Water pressure is also typical, at 40-45psi on city water. The Blanco's primary undoing was a leak that developed in the main body around the cartridge. the sprayer wasn't perfect, but wasn't dripping/leaking too badly. This current Hansgrohe, though, is definitely not right at the sprayer connection threads. I've got it locked down for the moment, but i'm sure it's only temporary. Hopefully enough to get through the holidays, at any rate. Regarding finishes, probably looking at stainless or chrome. The KWC's do look nice, particularly the Suprimo (which is the general configuration we're going for). Just need to figure out how far it throws the water, as the nozzle is at a 30 degree angle. No bricks and mortar places that sell them locally, so I can't try before I buy.

Yes, it needs to be single hole. Not wanting to drill new holes in the granite, nor do I want to lock myself in to a relatively uncommon 2-hole design. And I've learned that the other half is more or less hard over on a top mounted control lever. She says that side mounted is harder to get to with dirty hands. So that will limit our options quite a bit.
