You should be able to find something beigey greigy that works with both roof AND stone - its the white of the garage door and the other doors thats the problem Imho. Not sure why you want MORE color options - can be hard enough to narrow it down when you know what it is you want!

Hi smurfette36- Your credenza is lovely! If you are comfortable viewing your television with it placed there, then by all means, leave the credenza right where it is. Can you put up some photos of what the other end of the room looks like? Also the adjoining room? I also think the room desperately needs some more color, even if the color is black. You can do this with a new rug, or you can keep the rug and add the color with art. It is difficult to do a gallery wall. It can easily look like clutter, or like one can't afford a larger important work. But in the end, one actually spends more on the sum of those several smaller pieces that aren't anywhere as nice as the one larger piece you could have purchased that would have made your heart sing every time you saw it. I favor a hand knotted Oriental rug such as a Persian of any type. They last forever and never go out of style and go with any furniture type and color. And they are less expensive than most people realize. But you can certainly keep your current rug, and just turn it 90 degrees. You can get some throw pillows in whatever color way you like, but for sure, please get them with interesting textures such as nubby knit, velvet, corded trim, etc. Or your "color" can be black, and a couple of pillows can be an animal print with black, such as a leopard, and your art print can be a black and white print of anything you like. I would replace the lamp in the corner, that one is too small and old fashioned. I would not get one with a colored base. That is too restricting, because if you decide to change things up in the room, you are stuck with a lamp in a specific color that will cost a pretty penny to replace. Get a sturdy lamp in the appropriate size in a classic shape. Also, the plant in that corner is undersized, please keep your eyes open at tag sales for a big, big one, either a kentia palm or a fiddle leaf fig.

Are you open to changing the wall color? In the first couple of photos, it looks like a light grey that doesn't jive with the floors and fireplace. If it is grey and you don't want to change it, I would try to add some grey around your room. A new rug with a grey, cream brown pattern would be the easiest way to update the space and tie everything together.
