Not the first, but the second day with my first digital camera. I still remember how miraculous it all seemed vs. the days of film and developing.

its obvious that i did not take this picture. This is daddy teaching mother to drive in the field on our farm. We didn't own a car and Uncle Curtis loaned them a car , so she could learn. i was born in 38 , so i assume this was made shortly after they married in 1935. I have this on my digital pictures . The quality is not well defined but i love this picture. Think Aunt Victoria took the original picture.

Not my first digital image, but the first on my phone. DH and our granddaughter in 2008. She is finishing up 8th grade this month. How did that happen?

My digital photos began when I bought my first iPhone in 2006 and this is my oldest photo. My son graduated from college and had packed his car to drive to to Chicago.

This is the earliest digital picture I found. We bought an Olympus digital camera before a trip to New York in 2001. This picture was taken a couple of days before we departed. It’s of my first pond. I still have two of those Koi in my current pond.

Heres the oldest one on my phone. i have many older ones on discs and on sd cards. This is a picture of a staircase at the back of a department store where ive been shopping since i was three years old . Obviously with my mother first! The store was renovated into a fitness facility i knew i would never use so i snapped these pictures of the stairs . Silly, but so filled with nostalgia for me, The stairs are all worn down in the center from generations of shoppers using them,

This is baby Piggy Sue, a feral hog that I raised, and Zelda, one of my dogs, running down a trail in the woods when I lived on the bayou.

We purchased an Olympus + underwater housing. The lighting had to be just right to get a good shot. And....then the object was moving, your moving...it was a challenge.

Seeing the dates on the old pics is half the fun!

I think this one...2003....Youngest GS's 1st BD...he is almost 19 now, and big brother is 25. One of the oldest on this computer

Halloween, October 2000

This is my friend Paul wearing a costume that I made for him. He wanted to be half Elton John and half Eminem. I do not have the original digital image - this is a scanning of a print that I had made of the original digital photo. He provided the fabric (clothes) for the right side, and I made the left side, using new materials, except for the silver lamé shirt, which I already had but which no longer fit me.

ETA: The photo seems to have disappeared, and so I reloaded. I have Paul's permission to post this photo! I had to resize the photo because the resolution was 300 dpi from the scan.

Photo still will not post, even after being resized to 72 dpi.

Photo does not show up for me on Houzz when using Firefox, but it will show up on Gardenweb using Chrome.
