Comments (11)I searched forums on gardenweb about a light subtle pink or blush or rose color for a bedroom. I went out and painted samples on foam board of BM opal, ambrosia, shell pink, blanched coral, Pensacola pink, soft white, beautiful in my eyes. All were too “neon”/bright, not calming, and looked either too yellow/orange/peach/brown in the bedroom. Most of those had LRVs in the 80’s. Yes, i have read pink paint tends to intensify when painted on all four walls. The pink innocence and pink pearl small paint chips did not seem to have any yellow/brown/orange in my south facing room either during the day or at night with artificial light....See MoreHOA restrictions! Comments (19)don't get so hung up on the LRV. You have a southern exposure w/a lot of light coming in. It's fine to use some darker tones. I think the darker tones (like the garage door) will add some needed contrast against the siding and the cobbles. Cloak gray has lavender undertones. it should be a nice match the color of this garage door is more of a dove gray tone. A pigeon gray would also work. (both of those gray colors have purple undertones). Like this color gray: Can you see how it has some lavender tones to it? the 3 right columns should all work w/your cobbles. Make sure the white you pick is also from this color family. You don't want a warm, yellow white or a bright blueish-white. SW Iron Ore is another charcoal color that would work w/the taupes/pinks/purples of the cobbles. Paired w/the taupe/blush colors, it should be the perfect compliment to the stones. I love this shade. Try Abalone Shell Cinder Rose -Farrow and Ball The garage door. first, that light is too small and a bit high. you could remedy that by getting a larger one that has more length to it Like this. (both sides if you can swing it) Secondly, I see about popping in some window to the one track of the garage door. It will break up that solid door. see the white one above? now imagine it w/your door. I like the potted trees here too. I did a quick mock up w/2 diff lights, the plants and a garage door w/some pop-in windows. changes the whole look of the front. here they added the windows and the carriage hardware (Amazon) You can research, "how to DIY garage door windows" to get some ideas This home is almost like yours. if you like more of a modern door, you can go w/ the windows on the side....See MoreIndecisiveness
