I need to see the space but why not do the doors that face out like into a hallway the black and then do those doors inside the room the color that works with the room. I guess I need to see what you are planning. I do not understand why black doors for the bedroom if the black does not work in the bedroom.

What colour are the walls? How close are the closet doors to the entry door? How much contrast is going on for all these vertical planes? How much contrast do you want? If you're wondering, there is no law that says all doors must match.

What kind of doors? Slab or panels? In my opinion, black will show a lot more dust/dirt/dings than white will, particularly with panel doors (if that's a concern). I'm pretty neat, but my dog and cat shed :) .

To be truthful and fair, I seldom prefer black doors even if upkeep were not a concern. Would really have to fit the house for me to go in that direction. I have seen doors/trim in an interesting French Linen color that was quite stunning and definitely something I would consider.

I have wood stained doors for my front & back french doors plus also the bedroom doors and main bath that are seen from the main house spaces. All the other doors (master bath, closets) are white. I love the look of the wood doors but it wasn't worth the cost to me to use them everywhere if they won't be seen. I get a lot of compliments on the doors so it must work!

Bedroom interior doors, in the white, that looks better in the room, including the closets. Exterior side of the doors can all be black, if that is your choice. I love black doors, and I dont find them as much maintenance as white doors.
