Just going through all the updates. I didn't understand Eileen's comment either, Sue but she must have misunderstood your comment about the therapists not coming to the house thinking you meant your daughters not coming. Glad to hear your husband is stabilized right now. You've been through this before so you no the drill and what is to be expected. I agree that at this point Alyssa is the best medicine. My very best wishes to you and your family. (((((((Marilyn Sue, Husband, and all the family)))).

It's okay, I didn't take it as being bossy. Yes, I am fortunate that it is a huge complex with satellite facilities all over the area. He is at the main hospital. Private room....treating him very well. He isn't crazy about the food....they have him on a low sodium diet due to the fluid in his lungs. He looked better last night than I have seen him in ages.

Yes, hoping all is well. I get a little anxious when someone shares health concerns and then goes "dark". Of course, I get it that we are not the top priority at this time but we do become invested.

" I did a bit of research and you are only responsible if you live in a community property state " Laws, like life itself, aren't simple and straight forward. Community property laws differ in details large and small from state to state. In California, for example, when a married couple ceases marital cohabitation (as is the case for samkaren), the community nature of assets and income is frozen. Afterwards, assets and income are treated differently. Also, married individuals can have separate property that's not part of the jointly held "community" and if used to purchase an asset in whole or in part, that can affect an asset split. Just as examples.
