Still don't like him. He's less offensive as host, if that counts. Rephrasing: he crosses the line confidence into the epitome of smug arrogance. He grates on me as much as Alex was a balm

Aargh, here Jeopardy is on at 3:30, and I’ve been busy outside the house both days, and we don’t have TiVo Etc. I kinda like Buzzy, interested to see how he does as a host. Maybe Wednesday!

I caught much of Buzzy today, and I thought he was along the lines of Mike Richards and Anderson Cooper, and I liked him!

Buzzy is doing great! He;s second in line after Ken Jennings for my vote. Everyone else so far has bombed. Aaron Rodgers was ok

I saw this thread yesterday and realized I hadn't watched Jeopardy this week so I made a point to watch last night. I thought he was surprisingly good as host, and I have to admit he's not who I thought I remembered.

I agree with MyBiz that Ken Jennings was the best with Aaron second. I didn't think anyone bombed but I just didn't think they were worth having back.

Ded, I had the same thing happen yesterday where somehow I was signed out, and even though I have it set up autofilling with my user info it kept telling me it was invalid. Then I would try it again and I was in. Something bizarro with houzz.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well he did as host because I really didn't care for him as a contestant.

Maire cate, I was going to say exactly the same thing. He’s doing very well as host. Very engaging. I never liked him as a contestant, either.

I liked Ken a lot but I’m not sure his voice is suited to it yet. It might deepen some more as he gets older? I’m still grouping Mike Richards and Buzzy as tied, they both have such affection and enthusiasm for the game, and Anderson Cooper, who I thought did a good job, too.

I don’t know anything about Buzzy but I know there were jeopardy watchers that we’re not looking forward to him. I think everyone has done a very good job. I like to Katie Couric because her style is supportive and happy and all the others whom I have known. I would be happy with any one of them. Not a show off in the group. I am curious to know who would take the job if they were offered it. it’s the best job in the world.
