As you can see we have a White House that I’m trying to modernize. I’m considering swapping out the round window for a bank of 3 windows but the biggest design dilemma I have is the interior part and grills/muntin of the widow. First I’ve always have been a fan of black and white decorating. When I was 10 my mom asked me what wall paper I wanted “hello 1990’s” I picked the black and white stripes.. well we settled on blue stripe with purple flower border. Anyway, I would be ok with having black exterior and interior for the first floor and most of the house. For my kids rooms I think I would prefer black outside and white inside. Is that a window fashion no-no? Changing the colors for like 2 rooms? As for the grilles in the windows themselves suggestions? I would like less of them I think but to open and plain with none?
