Anyone? I am also looking at a Four Seasons sectional and would appreciate some feedback on them from someone who has experience with the brand. Thanks!

Willow - I've always loved your conservatory - well every room I've seen of yours! Beautiful! We have a sunroom, which I'm guessing is the same as a 4-seasons room. We use it each and EVERY day, it is one of my favorite places in our home. We are very much outdoor people and the sunroom opens to a large patio area, arbor and a private backyard space. When I shared pictures of my violets, those were in the sunroom. No pictures right now as we are redecorating in there. Doing away with the dark green wicker and using a dark natural wicker. I'll be doing a slipcovered ottoman in there and probably redoing the loveseat and chair cushions in the same fabric. Our room is used much like a den and/or entertaining, etc. It is a regular sheetrocked room (not an added on room, or vinyl walled room, if that makes sense) with 3 walls of windows. The wall coming out of the house to the sunroom has large french doors, but there is a bit more wall space on that wall. We have carried our love of antiques into the sunroom, we have a hoosier cabinet out there - I have many gardening/potting supplies stored in there, plus candles, outdoor flags, etc. and the enamel top makes a good spot for potted plants. We also have an old drop leaf table out there with the barley twist legs. Right now I have some plants contained inside a large birdcage and a large metal rabbit on that table. For extra eating space, we're able to pull up the sides and seat 4. People usually argue over who eats in the sunroom LOL. Add in a wicker loveseat and chairs and a couple of side tables and that's our room. We have a large sisal rug out there. Roman shades which are never completely down, but come summer, they'll cover about half the window. Right now I have all our pepper plants (started from seed) in the sunroom along with some bulbs that I am in the process of transplanting into planters. LOL tina tina

You might consider havin it custom built for your areas seasonal requirements. I built on for some folks using french doors mounted fixed under an existing patio and ran reflective foil faced foam panels under the concrete and topped with tile for the floor covering. The incoming rays in the winter warm the room by the heat not being absorbed in the slab, but rather reflected back into the room. i installed double french doors on either side for access, the rest were single doors fixed making window walls. You might consider not having the open pane windows for the roof, but rather a typical framed, insulated, and roofed cover. That is where most of your heat escapes, As far as cooling, reflective pull down shades and in both cases winter and summer, you will want well insulated glass panels. The room i built they have drapes to keep the summer sun out. There are many ways to construct it so that cooling and heating the room wont break the bank if designed right for your area. I worked for a builder where we constructed panels that filled with styrofoam beads when you wanted insulation with a vaccum system that removed the beads when you wanted full sun. There are many avenues, do your research and you can have a room that benefits your home, not deprives it concerning energy loss.

We have a couple of Willow chairs from C&B and they are very nice. The covers wash well. We machine wash and then air dry.
