Built in Microwave/Oven Issue...HELP!

I have a wall opening for a microwave/oven combo. Cabinet is a standard size - 27 inches wide by 24 inches deep. The issue i have is that the existing thermadore m/o combination is 55 inches tall (with a warming drawer). Everything i see on the market is in the 42 inch height range (without a warming drawer). That is a pretty significant gap. Any thoughts as to how to resolve? I'd rather not spend 1,000 on a warming drawer I wont use - but if thats the only solution i guess i could be okay with it.

Conversely i've looked at skipping the m/w and just putting in a double oven, but they are in the 51 inch height range.

In a perfect world, i'd probably have one big oven, one small (microwave sized) oven, and a microwave in one stack - but i dont even see that as possible.

Any solution doesnt seem workable. Any thoughts?

Many over the range (OTR) microwaves have the option of exhausting outside or recirculating into the room. It's usually just an adjustment to the fan as part of the installation. Regardless of how you have it hooked up, you don't have to turn on the exhaust fan.

Search the archives. This question comes up regularly. In general, many people see the benefit of having more than one oven, but few people need three or more ovens. This is a little different, if you make some of these ovens have special features. In other words, your choice of a double walloven seems rather unusual. But having a steam oven and a microwave (or better a speedoven) is quite useful, if your budget allows you to do so. These usually all are 24" devices. That's fine, as it doesn't take up unnecessary large amount of real estate and as it pre-heats much faster. But depending on what you cook, you might still need a fullsize oven in your range. If you don't need it, then a range top is a better choice.
