More from yesterday and today
Comments (9)All lovely blooms! Stellas Ruffled Fingers sounds like a bloom machine everywhere. Chance Encounter is such a pretty color. Mine has about 2 buds left. And my favorites today are Love On a Wire and Ornate Ruffles. Oh, I was glad you posted Marchioness, never heard of it, but as soon as I saw a pic I thought about my one noid that I bought as Saint Fiacre. AHS pic of Marchioness looks very close to what I have. I don't take many pics of my pseudo St.Fiacre because it's quite a bad opener. But it is late, and bloom size and description seem to match....See MoreSome blooms from today and yesterday
Comments (29)iris_gal, Sir John Betjemen is a great rose for a pot. He is about 3' tall and 3.5' wide. His color changes some with the weather, darker when cooler and lighter when it's hot. He does not have a lot of fragrance but he flowers a lot and the flowers last a long time on the bush. No disease here in SoCal....See MoreSome Things Blooming Yesterday and Today
Comments (7)These are all lovely, but there is no doubt in my mind that if I had a spot with afternoon shade I would have Grandmother's Hat. Her blooms did not last even half a day in the sunny spot I had her, but how I'd love to see her in the right place....See MoreBlooms from Yesterday and Today

I didn't measure, but they seemed even bigger than 7 inches yesterday. Thanks so much for that one. In the past two years, it's bloomed when the temps were near 100 and it was very faded. I'm seeing now what the bloom really looks like. It's always orange here, and doesn't have the reddish tones it has for you. Debra...See Moreorganic_kitten
