Need ideas for how to decorate a narrow bathroom

I’m having a hard time finding things to decorate my bathroom with because everything seems so symmetrical and I currently only have 1 mirror/sink, so it’s hard for me to picture things and where to place things. I know this is vague but basically my bathroom is very narrow with lots of wall space. I’m attaching pictures with this post to possibly help

Not sure I understand your request - is it for decorative ideas or renovation and storage ideas? Either way, your pics aren’t enough to show the space. Please stand back from doorway & take a full on vanity area pic. Draw the layout with doors, windows, toilet, tub, vanity & measurements please.

I am going to take better pictures to add to this once I get home, but here is an old picture of the bathroom before it was repainted that may help! And also adding one to show the layout. Really just looking for ALL ideas as far as how to make it functional but look nice as well. We are going to replace the vanity at some point which I know will make a big difference, but the rest of the bathroom I am stuck on.

That's my favorite too. I just love the turquoise. I think you need to go big or go home. Turquoise paint (like the yellow walls with grey tile picture). Turquoise main color for the rug. Turquoise with yellow and white for the shower curtain. Since you're keeping the sink and faucets, you need to work some grey in the room. I would be tempted to find the shower curtain first, and pull the colors from it. Here are a few examples. I love that shower curtain! Blue and brown is a very hot color combination right now, so you shouldn't have trouble finding accessories. My son's room is blue and brown, and we got some things at Target and others at Kohls. I think a light blue wall color would look great with it. If you're going to put new fixtures in there too, the oil-rubbed bronze finish would look really pretty. As for whether it would be too different from the rest of the house, I guess it depends on where it is. In my last house, I had a blue bathroom even though the house was mostly decorated with red, green and gold. It was sort of down a hall, so it didn't matter. I'm no expert, so I hope you get some other responses, too. I really like it though!

I just remodeled my 65X76 inch 1/2 bath into a full bathroom and every square inch was utilized. I'm sure others here will have better ideas, but you could follow a galley layout, with a 60X28" narrow bath with small, 24"-width shallow vanity (I went with this one, that still offers storage and a traditional look, with a super shallow depth of 11.5 inches for the console and under 19" for the sink basin). Then, put in a pocket door to a separate water closet for just your toilet. You'd still have almost 50" of space to work with in the WC. Here is another option, of a 'galley' style layout you could model. You will have less width in the 'walkway' but I think it's doable. Not sure about code, you'd have to check with your contractor.

It’s a beautiful neutral color- this bathroom has no natural light due to lack of windows, however, the hallway to the bathroom does and I don’t see any changes- good luck with your project!

Have you considered adding two 12” upper cabinets on either end of the long vanity wall with a wall mounted mirror that extends all the way between the two cabinets? You could get some extra storage and bury any outlets below them, and the large mirror would make the room feel much bigger.

Get a round mirror to offset the angles.
