Debby I too have read that about the virus staying in your system. Some news articles have mentioned 6 months or longer. Makes me very confused but I am aware that some medications have warnings about if a person has ever had TB.

What makes us worry is that scientists/doctors don't fully understand this virus. Glad to hear your "kids" are getting through this ok.

We both had Covid in November...very mild symptoms I would call "sniffles." We were told it's possible to test positive for up to 3 months, even though there's no danger of passing it on at that point. DH tested negative 12 days after his positive test.

I agree with socks...there's a lot they don't fully understand. I've heard once you've had Covid immunity can last 3-8 months and maybe longer...maybe. We know people who aren't getting the vaccine because they had Covid. Not a responsible decision IMO.

There still seems to be a lot the doctors don't understand about this virus, but as each month passes, learning more and hopefully at some point can put all the data together in a way we all understand. For now, even fully vaccinated, we're being careful....

Who gets this when is certainly very fickle. My son's wife had it in February. He never got it and no they didn't attempt to quarantine from each other since contagious begins days before you are aware you have it..by the time they were aware she was ill he had been "exposed" to her many hours/days and since they live in a small apartment--really what's the point!! The idea of masks inside a home is beyond ridiculous IMHO. He never did get it. He is now vaccinated so won't. Blessedly the Rna vaccine continues to cover the variants. Immunity is being declared longer with each passing month because EXPERIENCE is increasing with each passing month. Yes yes there are exceptions just as there are with all disease/medical treatments but if life is to get back to "normal" than we really need to follow the norm not the exceptions. Fauci can wear all the masks he wants and I will wear mine as mandated but fully vaccinated it really is not following the Science to do so.

@Elizabeth, me too! LOL I wear the paper ones because the cloth ones are horrible. When I was working and we finally got cloth ones to sell, I bought one for every day of the work week. They are 3 layers. Pretty masks, BUT when you're working and working hard you start breathing deeper and that layer of cloth closest to your mouth ends up inside your mouth every time you inhale............ I bought a box of paper masks and suffocation diverted. LOL There's no way I"ll put more than 1 mask on. (I say that now, but living in Alberta with all the covidiots here, that could change).
