This time around she is....

This time around my daughter is negative and her boyfriend is positive. They live in a very small 900 square foot (over two floors!) home. They have one loveseat and sleep together. They don't wear masks in the house. They aren't disinfecting everything. In January she had Covid, he didn't. Today he has Covid, she doesn't.

She is off for 3 more weeks, and he will be back to work by Monday next week. Both are able to work from home so they don't need government assistance.

Someone I used to work with said the virus stays in your system for a good six months (although it's "dead" so not spreadable), but she must've been misinformed. My daughter is only 3 1/2 months from feeling well after her diagnosis. But who knows? Maybe it's different from case to case. She also got her taste and smell back really fast, but the lady who was told the virus lingers for months cannot smell anything to this day and she had it in November.

Either way, I'm a happy camper!
