The house does look very nice. If your up for the upkeep of the window boxes I think that’s a great idea.
I would remove the storm door if at all possible... and minimize what’s going on in the front yard. Minimal landscape.

can't remove the storm door due to the fact I live in the Northeast but I understand what you're saying

Beware of window boxes. They can leak and damage the wall behind and below them. I am an avid gardener and have given up on them twice. Way too much work replacing the plants in them as they get scraggly and stop blooming, which was also running into $$$.

Your basic house and trim colours are very attractive. Your landscaping could be better. Some of your shrubs are leggy and there seems to be one of each kind. Some are also pruned to a less-attractive ball shape. Better to go with several of the same kind.

I think your house would look good with an accent colour. A dark red would look great IMO and I prefer it to the blue that you seem to be going trowards. Also there are fewer blue flowers.

So I'd paint the front door, screen door and the big blue pot the same dark red. Add dark red tulips for spring, geraniums for summer and fall, red-stemmed Red Osier Dogwood for red stems in winter.

I think it looks great, landscaping needs some help but otherwise beautiful.

Paint the door the same color as the screen door.

You just need landscaping and a better color for the front door.

I live in upstate NY. most of the landscaping is still dormant. The White Hydrangea in back have not bloomed. I haven't had my beds mulched as yet.

I like the idea of green with your other colors. I don’t think red looks good at all. There’s a “pop” of color and then there’s clownish.

I like the sophistication of your current color pallet. It is classic. I would paint your front and storm doors the color of your shutters. And get black planters and planter boxes, too. Buy fiberglass planters and boxes in black. They are available. With care, you will be able to maintain the boxes without damaging your home. Consider the gorgeous colors in the boxes that Jinx posted. That lime green and white combo (with some yellow, too) looks spectacular!
