Have you thought of putting in a small prep sink with a pull out faucet instead? That gets you the water source and a drain for that water. If you're already going for a deck mount, it's not really that much more space to put in the small sink, and it adds in a ton more functionality.

Mags483- Hmm, I don't know. That is my current set up but I am not sure I want to keep it. I like the idea of tile backsplash and the pot filler in the middle. That is what we had in a pervious house. Just not positive about ditching my SSBS. Part of me wants to try to see if I can find someone to cut a hole in the BS and see if I could center wall mount and still use the BS. But my builder isn't a "try it" type. He is a "this is the way Ive always done it" guy. The BS is viking so its very thick and it attaches to the range and not the wall so there will be space between the wall. Could a plumber come up with a solution... I bet they could but it's outside the lines... and so far I am not finding a bunch of people who are willing to "try" creative solutions. Ctycdm- Yes, I have considered that too. Beekeeperswife- I keep thinking of that as well. I see them in photos and part of me wants to try it but my fear is I am picky about counter clutter. I know its only one thing... Im a little funny this way. Anyone out there have a counter mount? Pictures? Thoughts about it? I feel like I am making 100's of decisions and even thought I am the type of person who knows what I like I am so afraid I am going to make a decision I dislike.

you'll probably need to take a handle and go to a good plumbing supply showroom like Ferguson's and get some advice from the pros. I find they are very knowledgeable and often the price you pay is the same as online.
