I only know that either my mathamatician grandson or my engineer grandson always beat me, a homemaker, at Tetrus. 😄 However, I can beat all of them at stacking a freezer or refrigerator any day of the week. (Hmmmm. Next time I play them at Tetrus I think I'll try the Stacking the Freezer gambit. )

That fridge makes me feel uneasy. HAHA!

Yes, that's my main fridge, Carol. The roots and most fruit are in the prep area fridge drawers, but there are three boxes of blueberries, the black thing is a big box of little mushrooms, and there are so many greens because the produce drawer, which is as deep and wide as the fridge, is stuffed. :) I thought I was going to have to leave the cabbage on the counter, but after playing tetris, it all fit. Today, I cleaned the prep fridge while pulling roots to make chicken stock, and found room for the ginormous bunch of Sleeper broccoli there, and after making the green kugel, there was room in the drawer for the collards and what was left of the spinach. Which made room on the tall shelf for the kugel and stock. Most of the stock will go in the freezer tomorrow and the food will be eaten, so things should get back to normal. I intend to palm off most of the quart of prepared horseradish, which was all they had, on another in the pod...

Arkansas Girl, it's the blocks of cheese balanced on the condiments in the door that make me uneasy! So far, no one's broken a toe!

Kate, teenage boys have the fastest brains around. Even though they peak at 14, the effect lingers. It has to do with youth, and, IIRC, a more highly lateralized brain. Since Tetris depends on speed, they're always going to have an advantage. In life skills, however, moms and grandmothers are the champs!

I nearly had a panic attack until I realized it is holiday related. Yikes. No fridge can circulate the proper temps so stuffed, me thinks. 😳

With a family visit during a holiday, all those puffy greens would be in a cooler outside with a newspaper foil under ice. Me no like stuffing.

So true! That state was only for a few hours. It's not actually "stuffed". Just full. Nothing squished.

Crikey, I was wondering how many people lived in your house!

LOL! Some of it is from staying out of stores and buying produce once a week from the farm. The farm produce takes up more space. I've learned to roll with it. The picture is from all the special holiday stuff plus the new delivery. The farm box comes at night and I just find places for everything. Thus, Tetris. :)
