The quote I wrote down is more of a contemporary classic. A hint? Mellors is the name of the hero. Maybe "bane" was a little strong, but it's certainly annoying that Every Single Term, at least one student asks, with wide-eyed tabloid eyes, if Mary M. and J. really did make babies... Have you heard about those historians who have filed a lawsuit, claiming that Brown plagiarized from one of their books? You know, if my academic work were in ANY way associated with that book, I wouldn't advertize it. To their credit, though, they claim that one of the reasons they've filed the lawsuit is because they feel that being associated with Brown's book makes their own work look bad. I like the idea of a "truth-sorter", though :) Sounds like some sort of futuristic, robotic computer device - like you'd find in a "Jetsons" court room.

Sure. The Wii comes with composite video and l/r audio connections. So any TV with those connections would work. Quality-wise, using the composite video depends on the quality of the 'comb filter' in the display. Look for a TV that has a 'digital 3D' comb filter. It is likely that your older TV has a better comb filter than your newer TV. (Or possibly you need to enable the comb filter via a menu option?) The wii supports s-video. So if your set has s-video connections, the comb filter is bypassed by purchasing a new cable set. S-video cables for the wii cost almost nothing on ebay. On my 10 year old Panasonic TV, which has both a 3D comb filter for composite video, along with S-video inputs, there is little to no difference in picture quality between comb-filtered composite and s-video. Turn the comb filter off, and there are very noticable differences between composite and s-video. However, does your newer TV have 'component video' (separate red/green/blue) connections? If so, it is very worthwhile to buy a set of component video cables for it. Again, you can get them on ebay for next to nothing. And if the newer set supports High Definition, the component cables allow the use of 480p progressive scan. (Be sure to select it in the setup menu.) This is the best you can do with the wii.

Thanks for your reply Dana! Things are looking up since I last posted. My husband brought home boxes for his son to start packing, which he has started doing. I did a little investigating of my own. I checked the apartments website and found that there were apartments available for 6/8, which is where he probably got the date from. The other day when stepson left for work, I checked his room and found the filled out application, and 2 check receipts for checks written out to the apartment complex. I hated to snoop, but felt I had a right to know what was going on considering his track record. It looks like he is moving out on 6/8. He asked if my husband would be available to help him that day since my husband has a pickup truck. He also asked his older brother and a friend to help him. His brother confirmed that to my husband. Things are looking good. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
